It's a word that comes to mind when I think of it: rancid. I recently bought two bottles that will last until June of this year. I'm not sure I'll keep using this product, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one who noticed the odor. I recently underwent tear duct surgery and will have another in September. There aren't any complications!
It is less expensive and easier to use than the pads, in my opinion. It all depends on how much you use at once; I'd say mine lasts about 3 (? ) weeks, twice a day, twice a day, twice a day, twice a day
It doesn't work that way. It's a gentle but effective product that an optometrist recommended, and it's helped me keep my eyelids clean and healthy. It's worth noting that there's another version in a black container that's not the "Plus" version. I recommend this "Plus" version because I had been using the previous one for a while and had developed a minor non-functionality. I had an infected sty on one eyelid that went away after I switched back to the "Plus" version. Although the package instructs you to "leave on for best results," you can use it in the shower and then rinse it off. According to my optometrist, it will still work, but it will be dependent on the state of your eyelids. It is recommended that you seek medical advice.
I apply it as if I were lightly "washing" my lash line, but I do so with a q-tip instead of a brush. I usually rinse it off, despite the fact that they say you don't have to. If your eyes are burning, you should see an eye doctor.

Also, close your eyes tight! The pads are a much better deal. Pick up a few round cotton wipes, spritz a little on, and wipe. JUST BE CAREFUL: If you don't use extreme caution when pushing the plunger, a ton of material will come out. As you push, take it slow and easy. To rub across an eye, only a small amount is required. WARNING: EXTRA WARNING: When wiping, make sure your eyes are tightly shut and then pause for a moment before opening them. If you get this stuff in your eye, it's not pleasant.
I went over the reviews. I did as they recommended. I barely press the pump against my finger. Both eyes should be used. The excess is wiped away. This is something I do on a daily basis. My vision has greatly improved. At the rate I'm using it, I expect it to last at least three months. This means you should use it twice a day. The large pads were excessively abrasive and wasteful. a lot more money. br>UPDATE: a lot more money. June of the following year There is still a third of the way to go. It's been a fantastic product, and I'll repurchase more if necessary.
My ophthalmologist suggested this Plus version, so I haven't tried the original. I would have been overjoyed if it had helped my scaly, itchy eyelids, and the cost would have been irrelevant, but it actually made them worse by inflaming/drying them out even more and intensifying the redness. I assumed I was doing something incorrectly, so I took it to my doctor, who applied it and left it on according to the instructions. As a result, the lids became redder and scalier. It could be my chemistry, but this was the polar opposite of what I'd hoped for.
Antibiotic ointment and drops worked for as long as I kept applying them, which was not a practical long-term solution. plan for the long term I finally did some Internet research and discovered a lot more about my condition than three ophthalmologists ever could. br>On the OcuSoft website, there is a short video that shows how to use the product properly, which I recommend watching. It explains that this foam not only cleans the lids, but that you should massage your lids in a specific way while using it to help clear the tiny oil glands that line the lid rim. This will aid in the restoration of normal gland function, resulting in the production of normal tears and the prevention of dry eyes. br>I actually enjoy using this product twice a day because it refreshes my eyes. And today will be the first day in weeks that I will go to work with clear, bright eyes!.
There's no need to "scrub" it. It is cost effective. Here's what I do for a living. The residue of dried eyedrops, tears, and other secretions/debris from the eyelids is easily removed with this product. As a result, this residue, which is resistant to normal washing with soap and water, does not cause chronic irritation to the eyes. As a result, the whites of the eyes are brighter and less red, and the itchy sensation is gone. It's also not necessary to use eye drops as often. If you accidentally get some of the product in your eyes, it does not sting. It isn't pleasant, but it isn't as bad as it could be. br>br>This product came to my attention by chance; This product, as well as similar products, were completely unknown to me. The glowing reviews I read on Amazon for this product are completely justified. Here's what I do for a living: br>br> I quickly depress the bottle's plunger to dispense some foam into my cupped palm, then scoop up half of it with my index finger and gently rub it across one closed eye's eyelid. The rest of the foam is then scooped up with my index finger and gently rubbed across the other closed eyelid. Because the product is a liquid that is quickly transformed into foam by passing through a nozzle, it must be applied to the eyelids as soon as possible. Then, as if massaging the product into the eyelids, I gently rub back and forth sideways on them. Then I rinse my eyelids with warm water to remove the excess product and debris that the product has loosen. br>br>The product not only removes the debris, but it also appears to moisturize and condition the eyelids' skin. As a result, your eyes feel clean and fresh in a way that I hadn't felt in YEARS. This is something I do both in the morning and in the evening after showering and washing my face with soap and water. It's difficult to overestimate the product's usefulness. br>br>My first bottle lasted nine weeks when used in this manner. As a result, the price isn't an issue, especially given the product's high value.
Okay, I have both the regular and plus, and I enjoy both of them. They leave your eyes feeling cleaner, fresher, and more relaxed than they have in the past. This is a great product, but do not use it as directed and leave it on your eyes. If you don't rinse, you're better off just rubbing soap in your eyes.
Because I suffer from an eye condition, I clean my eyelids with thin circular cotton wipes. I used what was left of my old pump bottle on one of the pads. It had no smell, as it had for many years. It was applied to my eye. This product had a foul odor when I sprayed it on the other eye pad. That is something I would never do to my eyes. The color of the bottle label was also much lighter than the original, and the copyright on the original was 2014, whereas the copyright on this much lighter color label was 2013, implying that it was newer. This does not appear to be the case. The following was also written on the bottom of the original bottle: EXP 08/2018, EXP 08/2019, EXP 08/2019, E It doesn't say "EXP" on this newer one; it simply says: 02/2019. I'm guessing the company stopped writing "EXP" at the bottom of the page. A product with a foul odor that was sold by: on my Amazon order. "Fun Stuff for Sale" is listed on the website, but this review includes the following: "Always First Aid" is a phrase that means "always ready to help. " Something about this isn't adding up. Just wanted to give you a heads-up on this product.
As part of my treatment for blepharitis and dry eye symptoms, my eye doctor recommended this to me. This was to be used in conjunction with warm moist heat for 5 minutes, according to the instructions. It has made a difference, and I can now wear my contacts more comfortably. br>br>When it comes to the cotton, I don't use a full pump. I only pump out about half a squirt, which is more cost effective and appears to work just as well as a full squirt.
