Makeup-wise, it's useless. The product was delivered factory sealed in what appear to be original containers (two pouches in a larger bag). I'm glad I didn't buy these to use as makeup (I'm an artist, so they were purchased to use with pan pastels). Both packages contained dirt and debris, as well as two long strands of hair in one of them! Check out the images. This is the first time I've ever had a problem with Amazon. I was taken aback and disappointed. I would not recommend this product.
I bought this for customers to try on eye shadow because I'm a consultant for a skincare/cosmetic line. I have to 'rock' or 'tilt' the applicator to get the most product on them because of their shape. It was fine once I realized that, but I've used other applicators that are flatter and pick up product more easily. I'm not sure I'll buy any more of these.
I'm a nail technician, and I bought these to use with my chrome powders and nail pigments, and they're great. They're also longer than standard eyeshadow applicators, so I can break them in half and get twice as much use out of a single applicator. PERFECT!.
When my daughter discovered that I had purchased "disposable" eye shadow brushes, she declared that she despises them. These aren't your run-of-the-mill eyeshadow brushes. They're even better than the ones that come with the eyeshadow kits! I now understand why they have such positive feedback, and I intend to contribute to it. Congratulations to the manufacturer for creating an excellent eye shadow brush. I'm 56 years old and this is the best thing I've ever bought.
I'm a pastel artist who enjoys experimenting with the medium. These are fantastic for applying Pan Pastels with! Because soft tools are so costly, this is the most cost-effective way to use pastels. You can also use them with any soft pastel brand. I'd wear them under my makeup as well. I will order these again because they are well made, not cheap, and do not fall apart.
Excellent product; just keep in mind how much makeup you have on the applicator when applying it. It catches a lot of people's attention.
I like these because the sponge doesn't crumble like some others I've used in the past, and I also use them for chrome nails.
You get good value for your money, and the materials are of high quality. That low-cost plastic and sponge nonsense isn't going to cut it. I'm going to get some more of these.
