Yes, the one I got was a forgery. Because She Uemura curlers are so gentle, I've been using them exclusively for more than a decade. When I used the one I got from Amazon, it yanked out my eyelashes. It's a nightmare for your eyes. When I attempted to post a review warning others that it was a fake, Amazon legit threatened me, saying that I should "consider this my first warning" and that my post "violated community guidelines." "This behemoth corporation is deliberately targeting an American citizen, as I was." They were honest and exposed a fake product, demonstrating that they don't care about their customers, which is understandable given how they treat their employees. This threatening message has offended me, and I have informed them of my feelings. I can't believe they're attempting to silence customers who speak up.
Nope. No, I don't believe so. It doesn't have the same ring to it as it should.
They appear to be original to me. I'm not sure 1000 if they are the old one that I had.
One refill is included in the package. I only use two of the two that come with it before replacing it. It appears that after using the refill, it no longer works as well. I'm not sure if refills are available for it. I'm sorry if I've been of any assistance, but that's what I do. These lash curlers are fantastic. They're the best I've ever used, and I'll keep buying them as long as they're still available!

This isn't a Shu curler, so don't get your hopes up. You can tell it's new by how light it is in comparison to my old one (which I bought at a Shu counter years ago) and the overall construction. I've added a photo to this post. On the right, you'll find the real Shu. Purchases should be avoided. It has a flimsy, inexpensive feel to it.
Without a doubt, it's a forgery. Words spelled incorrectly were written on the box's writing. Not cool.
8 months. Shu Uemera eyelash curlers are one of my favorites; they give my lashes a beautiful curl and are ideal for beginners or those with short lashes. It's shaped to reach every lash and keep them curled throughout the day. The rubber on the clamp deteriorates in about 3-years, which is the only drawback I can see. This curler has a 4 month warranty and comes with a replacement rubber, so it should last about 6 months depending on how much you use it. "It is important to replace your eyelash tools every 6 months after using the last of your eyelash curler refill," Shu Uermura advises on their website.
For the past 20 years, I've been using a Shu Uemura curler. It broke a few months ago, so I tried a much less expensive replacement. Disaster. It pinched my skin near my eye because I couldn't get all of my eyelashes into it. I threw it out and replaced it with a Shu Uemura that will most likely last another 20 years.
I tried other brands but always came back to this one because it gave me the best results. This was the second one that I kept in the back of the closet. I got the first one three years ago, and it's still going strong after a lot of use. br>If you're looking for an eyelash curler, this is the one to get. You'll thank me later.
When you use it, it should not irritate your eyes. br>br>It just so happens that this Shu Uemura eyelash is perfect for me! Because I'm Asian, my eyes are usually rounder. The Shiseido eyelash curler is also one of my possessions. This one is a little more rounded than the Shiseido, and it isn't quite as wide. The Shiseido pinches at the outer edge of my eyes frequently, and it takes me several attempts to get all of my lashes. Because my mother's eyes are a little flatter, the Shiseido is ideal for her. When she tries to curl the lashes in the middle of her eyes with this curler, it pinches her at both edges. Look around until you find a curler that is right for you!.
Wow! When I was looking into why my other curler had suddenly stopped working, I came across this one. I didn't realize jdea curlers had a lifespan until I read an article recommending them. It's the best curler I've ever used, and it doesn't irritate my skin! I strongly advise you to do so.
When I attempted to publish this review, Amazon sent me a warning message. Because She Uemura curlers are so comfortable, I've been using them for more than a decade. I understand what they're going through. When I received it and tried it on, I noticed that it was not the same size, shape, weight, or quality as the real thing. I'm returning it because it yanked my eyelashes out. Amazing is attempting to silence me and sending me threatening messages because I'm offended.
