They are the best value for the price. There are a bunch of drugstore brands you can get, but I've also tried Muji, DHC, and Koh Gen Do cotton puffs. These were the second best and were cheaper than the rest of the pack when purchased from Amazon in this 2 pack size, but I preferred the KGD ones because they were the softest. In just the past hour, I used the last of my double pack that I bought in 2015. Generally, I try to cut half a dozen equal sized strips for each pad, so that I can rewind at least three RDAs. There is another review that says they use Muji and that these are not quite as soft as they used to be In my opinion, this is true. It is usually Muji for me, but I thought it might be fun to try these out. If I soak them in toner (which is all I really use them for), they're okay, but once I run out of them, I'll go back to Muji. This will take awhile.
