My family has been searching for a vegetable loofah for much of my life. Growing up in Brazil, I was accustomed to picking my loofah from the vine during the summer months. They are fluffy and stretchy, with the perfect amount of "scrubbing" power. That isn't what we're talking about here. The material looks more like a mineral than a plant, and is extremely hard. Inflexible as all get out. My skin feels like it's covered in plastic. This has been a disappointment for me. I am continuing my search.
I'm not sure if they will grow because they look thin and scratched, but once they are in water they bloat up nicely. The lather on the skin of the metal ones does not develop as much as it does on the plastic kind, however, once you get them moving over your body you will see it forming. It has a gentle exfoliation effect that feels fantastic. I have each bought a loofah for my kids, and they have each lasted so far six weeks each. lasts much longer than the plastic kind that deteriorates after only a few months. Although I'm not sure how much more life this loofah has left in it, they are still looking and feeling great after 6 weeks, so far a better deal than the plastic kind. Wow, what a.
Using the loofah instead of plastic is good for the environment. This scrubber feels decently soft but still gets a good scrub.
Basically, they do what they're supposed to, but I'd rather use a pure loofah because it exfoliates better and is easier to use.
Excellent value for the money. These pads do not cut into your skin too much and last.
I've only just begun using one of these so far, but they're extremely hard. Loofahs are supposed to be rough, for sure. Not as rough as this. Despite the soft covering of the loofah, the spikey part of its back penetrates the soft section which makes it extremely difficult to comfortably engage the strap while getting clean. However, I wouldn't recommend them to those with thin dermis layers or to those who want to use these loofahs on their faces. They work, to be sure, but I wouldn't recommend them to those with thin dermis layers. The smooth loofahs are more my style, but these are hard to soften and feel like they won't get softer until they start breaking down to the point that I have to throw them out. The answer is yes, I'll use them. The chances of me buying them again are slim.
They feel great on my skin, too (not too rough but still It has another side composed of a soft terry cloth, which I have not used. Crovin Loofahs are small and I originally bought them in a package of six, but I gave them away because they were so small. These Almooni loofahs came in a pretty bag with two of them. The bag was really not needed I used it to store the Crovin loofahs when I refurnished I gifted them to I appreciate your help.
Loofahs are something I have been using my entire life, so when these came out, it was a great innovation and it made my life so much easier. Another pack was ordered for my sister as well. These flat loofahs with a washcloth on one side make it easy for us to stay clean and exfoliate our skin.
