My dear Ms. Davis, let me assure you that the bristles are There are multiple vendors selling this brush, so we do not have complete control over the listing. A few months ago, the vendor that does changed the title to BOAR BRISTLE BODY BRUSH which is a complete fabrication. Despite our protest, Amazon has not responded. We requested that this be corrected through www.com, but it has been denied. As a matter of fact, this brush is actually made with palm bristles, which are natural and vegan. Due to our close relationships with the manufacturer and the fact that we are the actual importer of the brush, we are aware of this. In order to clear customs, we are required to declare the type of wood the toothbrush is made from, as well as the material the bristles are made from. Please accept this as a helping hand. The brush I am using to dry brush my skin is my first. I have definitely noticed a difference, as I no longer encounter all the flaking that was present no matter how hard I scrubbed.
