How does this compare to other higher SPF lip blocks that leave a nasty taste in your mouth after using them?

The products by Dr Dan's are amazing. I didn't notice any taste, they were very good.

What's the taste of this balm? Is it like so many lip balms with sunscreen that have an icky taste?

There is a unique taste to it, which I don't mind, but that is a matter of taste. The Dermatone I have also tried does not smell or taste like coconut, but does taste like it.

It doesn't mention anything about layering anything on top of this balm in the packaging or the Manufacturer's website. The zinc and titanium crystals in Dr. Dan's SPF30 balm can be seen on the lips as a light white color, with the result that you know the product is protecting you. Therefore, we do not recommend using a lipstick or tinted balm over this product.

They gave me some samples (different product) to try out for chapped lips and I loved As a result, I decided I would purchase this sun block to protect my lips from sun damage. In the hopes of preventing further damage, this will be effective. The brand is one I trust, so I believe it will work!.

I like it, but it is a little too white for my tastes

There is, however, a MAJOR white cast (and this is coming from someone who only uses mineral spfs and does not mind a little I like it best for gardening, not so much for running a tinted Liplux that I hope will be more aesthetically pleasing than the plain one in the Coola catalog.

My dermatologist recommended it because it's been described as the consistency of firm Chapstick. It doesn't seem to do much, but it has the consistency of a lip balm. It seems to be a good idea. There are no odors or stinging sensations on the The only thing I wish it applied a little softer is that I'm sure I'll like it very much. The way it is, however, probably makes it stay on better. The importance of protecting yourself is very important.

My husband and I have used Dr. Dan's sunblock for years and we love it but the sunblock Despite the fact that it may work, the composition is awful and it smells awful. My hand is cluttered with lip balms that I've tried and don't like, so I put it in the drawer with all the other products.

Living in Northern Nevada's mountains, I'm a mountain climber. There is very dry air and cold temperatures It has been snowing a lot. The chapped lips here are a real problem, so I tried this under the advice of my dermatologist. I have never had a problem with it. It's the best feeling I've ever had on my lips! Although the product does leave behind a white film, it's not harmful. It is very handy to have this on hand. This very good lip protection provides very good coverage for those who forget to protect their lips. A white film may remain as part of the process but this is part of all natural skin protection that is not absorbed.
