Questions & Answers

Is this a sunscreen with minerals in it?

I enjoy Coola's products, but this Lip Balm did not appeal to me. I'm not going to buy it again. It reeked like hell.

Is this something that will melt in the heat?

I keep mine in a beach bag next to my chair and it's been fine. I'm not sure how long it'll last if it's left in the sun alone, but I've had no issues and love this product.

Could you please provide a complete ingredient list?

SUNSCREEN ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: br>Avobenzone (also known as avobenzone) is a type of avobenzone that 8% octisalate - 9% octocrylene- INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 6%

INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: br>Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Beeswax (ORGANIC), Butyloctyl Salicylate, Butyrospermum Parkii (ORGANIC Shea) Butter, Cocos Nucifera (ORGANIC Coconut) Oil, Copernicia Cerifera (ORGANIC Carnauba) Wax, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Flavor, G

I'm not sure what color this is supposed to be. I'm referring to the actual balm that you use. The one I got has a slight brown tint to it. ?

It wasn't brown in my house. This balm did not appeal to me in the least. The sunscreen is fantastic. The balm was a big no-no for me. It should be returned to you.

SPFs that harm the reef and ingredients that irritate the skin, such as menthol, are not present
5/5

True UVA and UVB protection in SPF Lip Balms is hard to come by. Those that are available frequently lose stars due to a waxy texture, an unpleasant fragrance, skin irritating ingredients such as menthol and eucalyptus, are overpriced or tested on animals, and do not provide true lip moisturizing. Coola's SPF Lip Balm is ideal in every way, especially for its silky texture and application, as well as its ability to moisturize and provide true UVA/UVB protection. I hope this isn't taken off the market anytime soon. It's also a plus that this company makes a valiant effort to be environmentally friendly and animal-friendly. As of 10/2019, this product is free of the chemicals oxybenzone and octinoxate, which have been linked to coral bleaching and death in peer-reviewed studies. Hopefully, current and future research on this subject will not reveal that the active sunscreen ingredients in this product are reef-safe. Killing is also an option. If this product is out of your price range, I recommend Blistex 5 Star Lip Protection SPF30 (contains Octinoxate), which provides good moisturization and true UVA/UVB protection at a reasonable price and is available at some drugstores, or Paula's Choice Lipscreen SPF50.

I'm the best, and I'm incredibly dry: The eyes, lips, skin, and mouth are all parts of the body that can be seen
5/5

Cola is the only lip product I've tried that goes on thicker and lasts longer. Yes, I scoff at the price, but because I use Coola every day and night, my lips are comfortable and free of peeling and cracking. I've got one in my bag. My bedside table has one of them.

There are a few issues with this product, including a strange flavor and lumpy product in the tube
3/5

Because my lips have never burned, I am unable to comment on the sun protection. When I'm out and about, I try to wear a lip SPF to keep my lips looking good for as long as possible. I have two lip SPFs in my collection: This, as well as a mineral sunscreen from Vanicream. br>br>I like how it spreads on my lips and how thick it is. Very hydrating, neither too thick nor too thin. However, the lip balm's surface (while still in the tube) is bumpy/lumpy, making application unpleasant; Maybe it has something to do with summer shipping? I don't like the flavor either, and it irritates me. It also has an odd, slightly bitter aftertaste that reminds me of the pool. I wish they'd just leave it tasteless and odorless. Will I buy this again? br>br> Regardless of my reservations about it. The Vanicream lip SPF is really nice to use and has no flavor, but it leaves a white cast on my lips, so I don't want to wear it out. This will be used when I'm going somewhere, and the Vanicream will be used when I'm exercising outside.

If you're looking for a "natural" product, you've come to the right place
3/5

It definitely has a chemical flavor. I've been using Banana Boat and Aloe Gator lip balms for a long time, but I, like many others, am always looking for more natural alternatives. We're currently using Coola as a sunscreen, so we thought we'd give the lip balm a try. In conclusion, if you've ever used their sunscreen, you'll know that the aerosol gives off a chemical odor when applied. I doubt they'd do the same with lip balm because it's used "in the mouth. " br>br>In conclusion, I would not recommend this product and will not buy it again in the future.

When this lip balm is absorbed (about 10 minutes after applying it), it leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth
3/5

I was surprised because it smells nice but has an awful chemical taste, even though I don't usually put lip balm in my mouth. I was unable to continue to use it. br>br>The lip balm was also much smaller than I expected based on the photos and prices. That one is on me, though, because I didn't read the measurements. br>br>For a small tube of lip balm, the price appears to be quite high. It did, however, hold up well in my hot car, so there's that.

It lasts longer than any other product I've tried
4/5

Because I work as a gardener outside and live in the sweltering southeast, I could write a book about sunscreens. I've always found that chapstick sunscreens, unlike regular chapsticks, wear off very quickly. That also applies to those that aren't white on your lips - Those are staying, but they don't have to be so glum. This one protects the lips by coating them in a protective layer. In terms of lubrication, it's comparable to regular chapstick. There is no trace of white. When it came to flavor, the question was simple: There is no taste to be found. There isn't even a hint of chemical sunscreen flavor. The only thing about tush's far that I don't like is how easily it melts. I'm annoyed when sunscreen melts in the heat of summer; it's not even close to high temperatures yet, and it melted in my car, but I like it.

Lip protection at its finest! I had never used sunscreen lip balms before, but I was planning a trip to Hawaii, where the sun is notoriously damaging, so I decided to bring one with me
5/5

The packaging is "larger" than typical lip balm packaging, but it's still small enough to fit in a purse. It's easy to apply and doesn't have a strong flavor. My lips are prone to cracking in the first place - I used it every day for two weeks on the trip and my lips didn't crack at all, so I think it works.

The expense is not justified
3/5

On February 21st, I received my package, and by March 8th, there was no joke. It wasn't even close to being full. What a swindle this is. It was a decent lim balm. br>br> There was nothing noteworthy about it. Especially if you're only going to be gone for a week or two. br>br>I would rather go to Tarjay and purchase the Brts Beees 4pack for $10.
