Although it used to be my favorite sunscreen, the California Baby sunblock stick no longer exists. Packages are cardboard/cheaper, so it is a bit difficult to apply, and the formulation is very solid. There is clearly a gardenia and lemongrass scent to the product despite its advertisement bearing the claim that there is no added And lastly, the price has grown more than double in the last few years.
My favorite part of it is that it is cardboard and is However, most of the time when using sunscreen you are near water. This fell into the water and completely ruined our sunscreen tube, ruining all of our sunscreen that we had used.
In his early years, my nine-year-old son had extremely sensitive skin, and after using another brand of sunscreen, his face swelled and his eyes almost closed shut almost entirely. Our family took him to a dermatologist and tried many different sunblock brands. The only sunblock that does not cause his face to swell is this one. His face is the only place we use sunblock. The sunblock we use every day is sunblock since we live in Florida. It is the only one we will use on the faces of our children. The product does cause the skin to appear white, but our kids have become accustomed to it. I did not give it five stars because it is difficult to apply, the stick is a bit hard, and I didn't like the stick being hard to hold.
Because of the hardness of the sunscreen, I have difficulty rubbing it directly onto my baby. At first, I also tried putting it on my hand, but it did not work. Although we are sure the sunscreen is great, it wasn't as effective as it should be in stick form.
It is a solid stick the sunblock is very hard, which means it is difficult to apply to any part of the skin without pressing along the skin and going over the area repeatedly. The size of the (very small) stick only left me with a little left after my first use, just over my face and chest. Thus, instead of the tube of lotion, I will purchase one of those instead. You can buy this for just In the end, I felt the $20 spent on that stick was wasted money.
I recommend it for kids who go to the beach or who surf, especially if they are sensitive to chemicals. The sunblock or sticks should be laden with zinc. This is really handy for those with busy schedules There is intense burning on the upper cheeks and on the nose under the eyes. Children and adults alike have used this for years and years. I too use it because I can see that it's still there hours after I use it. Voici a tip To prevent sand from getting embedded in the stick, keep it out of the sand and apply it before kids go in the ocean.
The California baby product has been in our home for six years, along with others from the company. In spite of using 'sensitive' products, both of my children swell up in their faces and around their eyes due to the chemicals in other This organic product goes a long way, and also comes in a little tube. The mask comes in a tube and we apply it every day to their faces. There is no cost for the service There is no smell to accompany the greasy formula. The lotion is so easy to apply that my kids have been applying it themselves since the age of 3.
A dermatologist recommended that this be used on my dog since he has Discoid Lupus, which is aggravated by UV rays, so he has to wear sunscreen on his nose to prevent sunburns. There is no such thing as this stuff Dogs don't eat it because it is toxic, and the “stickiness” of it means that more of it sticks to them when they lick Moreover, I plan to make use of it for many years to come as I had transferred it into contact lens cases to keep on our hiking trips.
