Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours; one bottle should suffice; however, two bottles should be brought just in case.
Yes, it helps my acne-prone skin as an adult. I live in the Midwest and have sensitive, oily skin during the humid summers and combination/sensitive skin during the sub-tropical winters. I've been using this daily for over a year and have had NO breakouts. Winters with a temperature below zero. It has a silky and elegant feel to it. I use a LOT of it, and it's whitish-colored. For the first few minutes (possibly three), smeary appears. It is absorbed after that. There is never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever It's fantastic!
This can be used on both the face and the body: It's fantastic! It's a light, moisturizing lotion that works well.
It feels light and absorbs quickly, in my opinion. I don't detect an odor, but my sense of smell isn't the best. Several of my friends use it, and none of them have complained about the smell.

The product is 5 stars; no thick white skin with this; however, the pump cap failed after 3 months of non-daily use, as has been reported by other reviewers. I took it out and cleaned it, but it was still there. It was almost time to drink from the bottle! It appears that the pump stops working as soon as it is no longer in contact with the lotion. To get a dollop, I've been using Qtips or hitting the bottom of the container. I intend to use a sharp knife to cut open the container and transfer the contents. The company could come up with a better "delivery system" for this amount of money. " Unless, of course, it's? The concept behind planned obsolescence is that some customers will assume the bottle is empty and re-order it. order. I had high hopes for THIS business.
I enjoyed the samples and had no problems; I don't have particularly sensitive skin and have never had an adverse reaction to a product. However, after using this sunscreen, I developed a rash that was red and itchy all over my body. It was so uncomfortable that I went to urgent care while on vacation to get it fixed. When I contacted the laser technician, she informed me that only a doctor or other licensed professional can provide the genuine product. As a result, it's possible that this is a third-party item.
It's all good. Because I have no tan and live in Tucson, it appears to work extremely well. The only minor criticism I have is that you should use caution when dispensing with the top of the can's push-down plunger. It always seems to dispense more sunscreen than I need in one squirt, but all of this brand's sunscreen products are very effective, and I've already had melanoma removed from my right cheek (I have a 2. Before I started using this cream, I had a 5" scar to show for it. Although the cancer was shallow enough that it had not spread internally, the scare had convinced me to believe. I now wear a hat, sunglasses, and EltaMD UV lotion on my face, neck, and arms whenever I leave the house. If you're worried about the white cream looking weird smeared on your skin, don't be. I suppose it absorbs, but it's not like the zinc cream sunblock that lifeguards at the local public pool used to put on their noses.
Pros: The formula is very gentle and moisturizing, and the SPF is decent. The extra-large size is also a good deal. The bottle lasted me two months after liberally slathering it on my face, neck, and arms.
Cons: It's greasy, but not in a bad way, so if you're sensitive to that sensation, you'll be disappointed. It leaves a slight white cast in areas that are difficult to rub in well, such as the hairline, and it gathered white gunk in my "elbow pits. " " I'm not sure what that part of the body is called. br>I've tried a few EltaMD sunscreens and, for the price, I'm disappointed. If you're serious about using sunscreen every day, I suggest looking into Japanese brands. It's scary because the labels are unknown, but I think you'll find your holy grail by watching some YouTube reviews.
I've used it on my face and body with no negative side effects. It's the best sunscreen I've ever used. br>I used to buy UV Clear 1 from a store. Though it lacks some of the key ingredients found in UV Clear, I don't see a significant difference overall. br>The texture is slightly thicker than UV Clear, but this isn't a deal-breaker for me. br>It also keeps my make-up in place.
The pump isn't functioning properly. It's a cutting-edge design that doesn't rely on a straw to get down into the product, instead relying on a vacuum. Or, in my case, it simply does not work. I didn't realize it until it was too late that I needed to go back to Amazon. As a result, I reached out to the company. It's been three weeks since I heard from the manufacturer after a month of back-and-forth emails. Clearly, they have no intention of repairing the situation. When you pay a higher price for a product, I believe the manufacturer should at the very least respond to legitimate complaints. To use this product, I had to unscrew the top and dig my finger into it; I would not buy from this manufacturer again.
Face sunscreen that I've discovered recently is my new favorite. It absorbs quickly into your skin and isn't greasy at all. Sure, it's moisturizing. Because of the amount and thickness of the zinc, no matter how much or how hard I rub, I have a hard time finding sunscreen for my face that doesn't leave a white film on my face and anywhere else I put it! That abrasive rubbing isn't good for your face. This isn't even close to being that bad. It applies like regular creamy lotion and is light enough not to be overpowering. I dig it! 👌.
Please, ELTAMD, return the pump to its original position! This sunscreen is one of my favorites, and I've been using it for quite some time. It's light and creamy, doesn't leave a white cast, and doesn't irritate my skin. It also contains ingredients that are mostly natural and safe. I would have given it a ten out of ten if they hadn't changed the pump. Almost as soon as I received it, it stopped working. I sent TWO emails to the company but never received a response. So I went out and bought some GoToobs and decanted them into that (which was a lengthy process). I wish they would just go back to the original pump, as there have been other complaints about it on this site and elsewhere.
