This scrub is one of my favorites! It smells so good that I sometimes mistake it for candy. The sensation of all the'sugar crystals' rubbing against my lips is one of my favorites. It gives the impression of truly cleaning and removing dead cells from your lips. I wasn't sure why you were supposed to wipe your lips after scrubbing (as directed), but I guess it's to get rid of the dead cells and crystals. My lips, however, remained surprising soft. br>br>I have a hard time finding any type of lip treatment (like chapstick or balm) that doesn't dry out my lips and leave them flaky and 'peely,' so my go-to has always been aquaphor, which is great stuff but doesn't last me all day and my lips get really chapped when they dry out. Then, when I reapply the aquaphor, I have to peel away the chapped areas before it can make my lips feel better and soft. This lip scrub, however, is not one of them! br>br>Even though I thought my lips were dry after a few days, when I checked on them, they were still soft to the touch and, surprisingly, no chapped lips! That was fantastic. About two times a week, I use this product. My lips feel great after using this product three times a day! I can even see it changing the color of my lips to a more natural pinkish tone (I have dark pigmentation around my lips-- and it's now starting to lighten up). br>br>However, I would recommend getting the Hanalei Lip Treatment as well if you purchase this scrub. They're recommended products for one another because they go together so well. Following the scrub, you apply the lip treatment, which simply raises the bar. The treatment will leave you with the impression that something is working on your lips. The scrub is great on its own, but when you combine it with the other products, it's a match made in heaven!.

I'm in my twenties, and I've had chapped lips since I can remember, dating back to before I was born. Even in the summer, my lips would be chapped. Picking at my lips and causing them to bleed was a constant occurrence for me. I noticed a difference right away after using this scrub for the first time. For the next four days, I used it every day. I can now get away with only using it two times. Once a week, twice a week, and once a month, respectively. It makes my lips feel silky smooth, which I've never felt before. I use Jack Back lip balm after using this scrub to keep the moisture in my lips. I would recommend this product to anyone.

The only con I can think of is that the granulated sugar dissolves almost instantly once it comes into contact with your lips, which defeats the purpose of exfoliation. Otherwise, it smells incredible, and if you get some in your mouth and taste it, it's extremely sweet! It does leave your lips buttery soft, but it only lasts a short time. I think I'd need to use this two times. To get the most out of it, do it three times a day. I'm not sure if I'd order this again because the container is so small and you don't get a lot of product for the price.

Many other lip scrubs are much dryer and have larger sugar chunks to exfoliate with; This sugar scrub, on the other hand, has a finer sugar grain and a more oily texture. This is my preferred method because it leaves my lips smooth and soft while also moisturizing them. The amazing scent that lingers on the lips for a short time afterward is an added bonus. Overall, this is the best lip scrub I've ever tried.

My lips are constantly dry and cracked as a result of my lip-picking habit. I've tried many times to stop but haven't been able to do so because of the irritating sensation of cracked lips. Anyway, I just rub it on to exfoliate, then apply my Jack Black Intensive Lip Therapy (which is awesome, by the way), and my lips are soft and smooth. WOW! This is an excellent product. This, as well as Jack Black's Intense lip therapy, is a must-have.

My lips spend 95% of their time chapped regardless of how much water I drink, humidity, season, chapstick/lip balm, etc and every now and then I will query amazon It has a light citrus scent that reminds me of raspberry tea and citronella. br>br> The grains in the scrub stand out, and it's easy to spread. Massage into your lips to exfoliate, then wipe away with a tissue, according to the directions. It's a breeze to clean up! br>br>The reason I reviewed this so quickly is that after years of buying products that people swear by on the spur of the moment, this is the first one that felt different. Balms and scrubs, in my experience, usually mask the issue by making chapped lips slippery enough to ignore. My lips are noticeably smoother after wiping this away. Give it a shot! br>br>Do yourself a favor and try it!.

I've been wanting, or should I say needing, a lip scrub in my life because my lips have always been dry and I've relied on chopsticks/Vaseline to help. I've heard good things about hanalei, so I'm going to give it a shot. I've only used it once, but I can already tell a difference: my lips are smoother. My lips were free of dry skin after I removed it. When I put on my lipstick, I'm hoping it will stay smooth. In general, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Because of the item's price, I was torn between giving it 4 and 5 stars. I gave it five stars because it actually works and I've noticed a difference since I started using it. My lips get dry and I peel them, but I haven't had that problem since I started using this. I initially thought the texture was too smooth, but after applying a little more to my lips, I was able to achieve the desired consistency. A little goes a long way, and it smells fantastic.
