I have dried lips all the time. As a gift, my girlfriend bought this for me, and it's truly a marvel. The tube is smaller, whiter and more nondescript than the last key to your mailbox, front door or safe deposit box, so it is easier to lose than the key to your mailbox, front door or safe deposit box, as other reviewers have pointed out. My memory is pretty clear that I lost one the next day. The person who never leaves home without two lip covers in her purse or in her pocket if she is hiking always has at least two lip covers on her person. The brands I am loyal to are those that do not irritate my lips and can be found when I need them. I HATE trying to keep track of this tiny tube because it is expensive and so hard to use. There will be no more purchases from me.
