I can't emphasize how important it is to use a good sunscreen with this because it makes your skin extremely sensitive to the sun. You might end up with more damage than you started with if you don't have a good spf. It's a little oily, and it doesn't burn, but it does tingle a little, but the texture and softness of my face are so different that I'd consider breaking into The Ordinary factory and doing a backstroke in an industrial-sized vat of this magical potion.
The Ordinary is one of my favorite shows. Their items are of excellent quality and value. This is a simple and light-weight option. The scent of retinol is distinct, but it's not overpowering. I passed on this one because I've discovered I don't care for Squalane. I noticed a difference after using this product, so I believe the Retinol is fine; my issue was with the Squalane's oiliness. I have extremely dry skin, and the oil simply sat on top of it. Even the next morning, my skin felt greasy because it never fully absorbed the product. I've heard other people complain about Squalane oil, so I'm pretty sure that's what my problem was.
