Listed below is 100 percent pure rosehip oil, or rosehip seed oil (they are both Rose essential oil should not be confused with rose flower An essential oil of rose is extracted from the petals of the flower. Rosahip oil has a wide variety of benefits for the skin, hair, and nails, but not for this particular oil. A little portion of the flower behind the bloom is used for extracting rosehip oil. Oils of these two types are completely different. It's common for some brands to label rosehip seed oil as rosehip oil, as if the consumer already knows it draws its nutrients Although rosehip oil is not an essential oil, it has a number of uses. The difference between rose oil and this is its fragrance. There can be a lot of confusion!
It has a weird smell at first, like seeds, but it soon changes to a floral smell (NOT ROSE) after a few It is much better after it has been "opened up."

It's a total bummer. For a few years, I have ordered this product, but recently, the formula changed, or they started mixing it with a different A dark amber color or the smell of pure rosehip seed oil are ways to recognize it. I have ordered oil from Kate in the past, and it has always been dark amber in color. My new oil is almost colorless when I opened it today. Today I ordered it and got it. I hate it! My brand is now obsolete, and I need to find a new one! Please see the attached pictures for the color difference between the old and new oil. In the left image is new oil, and in the right image is old oil.
Getting rid of acne scarring prompted me to buy this product. As a result of dry skin, I am very sensitive. Current moisturizer of choice for me is Cerave daily moisturizer, and it takes care of my dry skin beautifully. My acne began as an adult after I graduated from There are still a few pimples here and there, but my skin is mostly clear. In spite of this, I broke out badly on my chin after using this product for one day. It took me just one day of use to see progress, and the pimples grew even after I stopped using the product and went back to my regular skincare regimen and Rx acne gel, out of necessity. It's been a week since my chin was hurt, and only now has it The photo of the next day after use is shown here. During the last two weeks, I used this oil twice a day, once in the morning and once before I went to sleep. I stopped it the moment I awoke this way. Since I stopped using this product, I haven't experienced any flare ups.
It is easy to buy low quality rosehip oil that is advertised as high-quality, 100% pure, etc. I wanted an oil with the characteristic orange color that indicates undiluted vitamin A Since it was more of a light yellow hue, it fell somewhere in the middle. I would describe the texture as similar to that of maple syrup. I expected it to smell fresher and bioactive, but it wasn't quite as fresh as I hoped. The oil wasn't yet rancid nor mixed with any other oils, but it didn't smell like fresh rosehip oil when it was freshly pressed. As far as rosehip oils go, I would consider this product to be in the middle. There is one thing I really dislike, however It was impossible to determine when the bottle was manufactured or when it expired. I believe this should be a basic standard for all oil products since, even the touted "preservative" oils like vitamin E, do have a shelf life and do oxidize and expire! If the company addresses this concern and can provide dates, I will update this review accordingly.
There was distinctly no aroma, the oil smelled very off, and it gave me a painful reaction (just used a test patch). Consequently, I use Rosehip Oil since I am pregnant and want to ensure that my skincare is natural and healthy. Unfortunately, this seller will not allow you to do that. They may or may not be using a different kind of filler oil!.
(As it should be) I noticed that my first bottle had a nutty smell to it. That was weird. I decided to try it and it just didn't feel the same as my first bottle of it. This product caused an outbreak of acne and felt greasy. As opposed to the dry oil I was so used to, this oil definitely did not feel that way. This is my first review update because I feel the quality of the product The item was returned to me in a sad manner. Review (
Original Having heard so much about it, I bought this for myself to see for myself what the fuss was about. The vast majority of products I've encountered at the store are “oil-based” - so I would never think to use oil on my face Since it is "free" I found it strange, but I gave it a try and am loving it already. I have combination skin, and I've found that the oil makes hydrating my skin effortless. Early to mid-century In order to keep my skin smooth, I typically apply powder or dab my t-shirt It has been a week since I have used the zone, so I haven't had to do anything. When I apply this oil to my face, it doesn't feel overly oily, so I don't have to deal with that uncomfortable feeling. The sores on my boyfriend's body are also affected by psoriasis, and I have read that rosehip seed oil aids in healing the situation. In only a couple days, he has already started applying it himself on his face, neck, and chest! A few nights ago, I applied it on his face, neck, and chest. I don't comprehend how he is going out of his way to put it on himself! The sores and redness have already gone down considerably and it's great to see it going away.
Prior to reviewing it, I used the product for about a month, and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Years ago, I had pesky stretch marks and scars which I'd tried to get rid of but they began to fade when I first used this product! The next time I run out of it, I will definitely get more. This is my third purchase of the product. Excited to keep using it! I was a little upset when the price went up.
