I'm hesitant to buy these because I have sensitive skin. For a few months, I've been doing chemical peels, and they've helped a little. I'm 32 years old, and my skin is combination with scars from picking. I just used these for the first time, and they're incredible! I've noticed a difference already. I'm a huge skin care junkie, so I only write glowing reviews for products that I truly believe in. These aren't likely to irritate anyone. I love my PMD Personal Microdermabrasion Device; I started out with the green discs for moderate abrasion because I didn't want to harm my skin, but since I don't have sensitive skin, I quickly progressed to the very coarse red discs. What a difference they were able to make! They're fantastic, and they haven't irritated my skin in the least. (However, if you're new to microdermabrasion, I recommend starting with a gentle or moderate treatment to see how your skin reacts. ) )br>br>Like some of the other reviewers, I thought the moderate discs did a decent job, and they did, but the red discs are far superior. They get rid of a lot more dead and dull skin cells, and I also use them on my arms and legs. My skin does feel a little sensitive after using these, so I'd recommend investing in the cleanser, toner, and recovery cream designed specifically for this device (skin is less sensitive than it is after dermaneedling). ) I usually use this device in the evenings, then lighten up on my skin care routine the next day, still using PMD products and, of course, sunscreen. Even if you don't experience any stinging, your skin will be more vulnerable following one of these treatments. Avoid using any acid-based products, particularly glycolic acid, which can make you more vulnerable to sun damage. I use a glycolic toner in the morning and a glycolic resurfacing cream at night, but not for at least two nights after using this device. br>br>This device, as well as these discs, have made a significant difference in my skin. Work perfectly, and it's great to be able to get them with Prime because Ulta never has them in stock, especially not this combination, so I have to order them from their website or Amazon. I get free shipping because I'm a prime member. If I order from them, I pay shipping and it takes at least a week to arrive. In terms of application, these disks are excellent; I use them on my face, as do many others; however, it's been a while since I've used my PMD, and my skin has become sensitive again; therefore, it appears that I'll have to work my way back up to these. This device has made incredible changes in my skin. I had acne scarring and generally dull skin, and using this device helped fade my scars by gradually evening them out. This also reduces wrinkles and gives my skin a healthy glow; one use I didn't consider when I purchased it, but is one of the best, is for KP. I have keratosis pilaris and this is the only thing that has helped me. I've tried so many other creams, exfoliators, you name it, and this is the only thing that has worked.

I feel like I'm getting a proper microdermam abrasion now that I've switched to these red discs! My skin felt as if it had been properly exfoliated, and it was always baby soft the next day! To avoid major skin irritation, I would only use this once a week. Furthermore, if you have sensitive skin, I would avoid this. I've had professional microderm abrasions before, but I think using these discs at home is just as effective, and it's well worth the money. I hope this information is useful.

I've been using PMD for a while, but the red discs were new to me. Wow, after using it, my face was extremely tender! I say they're effective, but wear sunscreen and a hat for a few days after using this product, and don't sweat for a few days. Sweat + salt = BURNING BURNING BURNING BURNING BURNING.
