Unless you have sensitive skin, I do not suggest it unless you have the above issue.
If you want to use the pads, you do not have to wash your face beforehand. The only time I would do it is if you have a lot of makeup on as your face will be left with product after cleaning and exfoliating, which is why your skin may feel sticky.
The reason you cannot buy two is that you would need to close the lid whether you buy one or two, but no matter what you do, close the lid - As they dried out, they would no longer be viable.

Nassif's pads, I'm always on the lookout for new products. For the past two months, I have been using them every morning and night, and I have noticed an improvement in my skin's smoothness, brightness, and overall appearance! The new "can't live without" items in my life!.
