They give it five stars and point out that, despite being a lower strength retinol, it can still be very effective for skin texture and all of the other claims made by the product. It simply won't work on deep wrinkles or other serious issues that require a higher concentration of retinol, but the product makes no such claims. This is ideal for me because I am unable to use much higher or mid-range frequencies. Retinols of high potency Keep RETINOL (over-the-counter) in mind. the- prescription (tretinoin/retin-A) and over-the-counter (retin-A) are not the same thing. No, the serum should not be washed away. Allow the serum to absorb into the skin before applying your moisturizer on top of it.
It should not be a problem for teenagers. However, I would combine this with Cerave healing ointment to ensure that their skin does not become dry.

It's not. Instead, it's buried somewhere near the bottom of the chemical ingredients list. br>br>The fact that I can't find a percentage of Retinol for this product indicates that there isn't enough to warrant a measurement, implying that it is ineffective for resurfacing and brightening. There is no difference in my opinion. You will see results if you spend the money on a true Retinol-based product.
I had terrible acne for most of my adult life, and after a very harsh treatment with my dermatologist, the acne went away, but I was left with deep scars, dry skin (which was previously oily), extreme sensitivity to almost everything, and dermatitis. I tried a lot of products and none of them worked; in fact, most of them made me break out in a rash, even stuff that was supposed to be gentle on my skin. I made the switch to Cerave and couldn't be more pleased with the results! After washing my face with the Cerave acne foaming cleanser and applying the Cerave PM facial moisturizer, I apply this serum at night. I wash my face with Cerave SA renewing cleanser in the morning, then apply their hyaluronic acid serum and mineral sunscreen. I used Cerave products in every step of my routine, and the results are amazing! Because of my skin, I was depressed for a long time, but I've finally regained my confidence!.
It's great that I'm a little oily because it means I don't have any wrinkles. Dark spots and large pores, on the other hand, are extremely visible to me. br>I alternate between the Differin and Cerave lines of skin care products and have been pleased with the results I've gotten from both. br>br>I believe my skin becomes immune to products after a while, which is why I change things up so much. (I have the same problem with shampoos. ) This isn't a Retin-A product. br>br> It's a product called Retinol, which is weaker than Retin-A. It appeals to me because I believe it helps to refine and brighten the pores. I can see that the dark spots are lightening, which makes me very happy. br>br>This is a good value addition to my anti-virus arsenal. I can tell a difference on my neck, which has a lot of discoloration on the sides, thanks to my anti-aging skin care regimen. br>br>Though it may not be this specific product because it is part of my skin care routine and not the only thing I use, I believe it is helping in the long run. I also haven't experienced any burning, itching, or redness, which is a plus. br>br>I hope you have as much fun with it as I have.
I've been on the fence about retinol because it's difficult to find the right balance for it to do its job while also walking the tightrope of adding enough moisturizer to avoid the flaking and redness that retinol can cause. I use Cerave to cleanse, then layer my argereline and matrixyl serums, followed by a collagen peptide serum, and finally let it dry. After that, I apply retinol and Cerave night cream. When the redness started after four days, I took a day off from retinol. Now, every other evening, take retinol, and BAM! Beautiful, even, brighter, GLOWING, and wrinkle-free At the age of 63, I have a clear complexion! Finally! This retinol product is ideal!.
My acne scarring has become slightly less visible as a result of using this product. Surprisingly, my acne has completely cleared up since I started using it. The only change I made to my routine was to add this product at night. br>During the day, my face no longer feels dry. Overall, this product has done a lot more than I expected in terms of balancing my skin. br>br>Dry skin with adult-onset acne that is moderate to severe. Cerave SA facial wash and Cerave Moisturizing Lotion are among the other products in my regimen, as recommended by my dermatologist.
It is well worth the effort. It appeals to my tastes. My skin is still moisturised despite the fact that it isn't heavy. This will be my day-to-day moisturizer. I also have some scars on my face that are gradually dissipating. It's obvious that it's doing its job.
I wish the active ingredients were more visible and closer to the top of the ingredient list, but it's the least irritating retinol I've tried and it feels good. It also doesn't have any of those irritating scents. It's probably not as "powerful" as other retinols, but if you have sensitive or dry skin like me, it's ideal.
All of Cerave's products are fantastic, and I was ecstatic when they announced a retinol resurfacing serum was on the way! I've spent hundreds of dollars on retinols and none of them have ever worked as well as this product; I've had acne since I was a child and have millions of acne scars to show for it. I've only been using the serum for about two months, but I've noticed a difference in my overall complexion, particularly in terms of skin tone. My dark post-acne scar pigmentation has faded or vanished completely. Because I have extremely sensitive skin, I am extremely cautious about what I apply to it. The retinol in this product caused my skin to peel, but that's to be expected. My peeling was manageable and almost non-existent thanks to a good moisturizer (I used Cerave's face moisturizer). easily recognizable After a year, I'm excited to see the results.
