It has been informed to us that we cannot use the logo on our labels without permission, but we can state the oil is Taking the time (and money) to go through this process required that we delay it until we had the resources to do so. So far, we have even managed to get the redesigned labels with a USDA logo approved. Our previous supplier, however, was moved away from us before we got to the point where we were really comfortable with them This certification process poses a larger challenge to them, given the smaller size of their company. Although they have sourced and sold organic oils for more than a decade (to whom we sell and directly to consumers), they haven't gone through the accreditation They have a small facility, which makes it difficult for a separate organic section to be built. It has been our goal to push them to find a new, larger location for over two years, and they have been looking for it since then This is the third month. A couple of things are going on with our supplier and I wanted to ensure they were okay with that Since the last four years, we have sourced from the same supplier. Their business is a small, family run business, run by a husband and wife with help from a small staff, most of whom have worked for them for ten years or more. It was a struggle for them in the past to keep up with demand for our products as well as to serve all the customers they had before we arrived! The supplier grew with us and got more staff and machinery to be able to continue to stock our products.
