It has a light nutty smell, which is why I gave it four stars. You have nothing to worry about, nothing to be overbearing about or causing a fuss. Since I am very prone to getting sensitized by fragrances, it's cool for me. There is no other way to describe how wonderful this is for my facial skin. In the morning, I apply this to my entire body before getting into bed. I wish they made this in the gallon size, because I would apply it over everything. A quick note The texture was smooth, but there were a few tiny micro grains. The product might not have been the cause and something on my skin might have been.
