Ethylhexyl palmitate is a palm oil derivative that is bad for cosmetics because it can be comedogenic, not to mention that unsustainable harvesting practices are causing wildlife like pygmy elephants to become extinct at alarming rates: (This ingredient is no longer used by ethical cosmetics companies.) In addition, this cream caused my usually tolerant skin to break out. I wouldn't have bought it if I hadn't known it contained ethylhexyl palmitate!
It works just as well as a separate eye cream under my eyes, which I always use. Many eye creams are too heavy for my skin, causing my pores to clog. This one is impossible to get rid of. It does have an essential oil scent, but it never irritates my eyes, and I don't notice it on my face.
It works for me, despite the fact that I have oily skin.
You could, however, incorporate one into the mix. Alba, for example, is free of animal testing and may be suitable for use.

I'm 32, and the things I've been doing since I was in my twenties aren't working any longer. I looked into a number of different brands before settling on this one. Serums, boosters, face wash, moisturizer, and a refreshing spray were among the six items I purchased to combine. Love is in the air for my skin. br>br>I was skeptical about this product's ability to moisturize my skin. My skin is extremely parched and flaky. I'm not particularly allergic to products. Just make sure it's always dry. I'm used to using cream-based face products that are thicker, and I've never had success with thinner ones. The bottle is also smaller than I'd normally purchase, especially for the price, but I'm happy to report that all of my fears were unfounded. I only use a small amount of this product at a time, so I expect it to last a long time. br>I'm so glad I found this. My complexion is now flawless.
It makes my skin feel like butter. It appeals to me. When I put most things on my extremely sensitive skin, it erupts. I've had no issues with this. It refreshes and revitalizes me. It would be nice if it included some sunscreen.
I was looking for a cruelty-free moisturizer that was also reasonably priced. This feels great on the skin and isn't too heavy or thick. This moisturizes the drier areas of my face without making them oily. I have combination skin, and this doesn't make it oily. Despite the fact that I don't have particularly sensitive skin, this feels very gentle on my face. br>br>I'm not a fan of skincare that contains artificial fragrance or perfume, so I was pleased with how this smelled. It isn't perfect, but it does have a pleasant scent.
When I wash my face, I use this in conjunction with Suona charcoal lavender soap, and the two work well together. Less is more, and I believe that using a little at a time will ensure that the product lasts longer. The bottle is nice and small, but I wanted to try it first before I fell in love with it, so the size isn't a big deal. Some of the other reviews complained about poor packaging; mine arrived in perfect condition, but I could have just been lucky. This product does not clog my pores and dries quickly. I've noticed a reduction in the appearance of bags under my eyes, and I've switched between using it in the morning and at night, depending on my schedule. So far, I'm really happy with what I've seen. Definitely a good investment. I arrived on November 1st, and it is now November 10th. Actually, I'm quite pleased.
This product moisturizes my skin without being heavy or greasy, and I use it every day. It has a pleasant, light scent to it as well. I intend to use this as my daily moisturizer throughout the year. round. I also appreciate the fact that Pacifica products are free of harmful chemicals and fragrances.
I've only been using the product for a month, but here are some things I've noticed: 1. br>br> My skin appears to be more luminous and dewy.
2. My nose and cheeks are no longer as red as they once were.
3. My skin is moisturized, and I'm not getting any more breakouts. br>4. My skin tone has improved and I now have a more youthful appearance. br>br>While I can't compare it to Charlotte Tillbury Magic Cream because I haven't tried it, I will say that I am pleased with the results of this day lotion and plan to keep using it on my skin. For an even better price, I got excellent results.
My skin is normal, so it doesn't get dry or oily and mostly keeps itself in check, but this moisturizer was wreaking havoc on my complexion. I would strongly advise against it.
My very sensitive skin was not irritated by this lotion! Almost everything irritates or causes me to break out, so I was a little nervous when I first smelled this lotion because it has a strong floral scent, and fragrances are notorious for causing breakouts. The scent fades quickly, leaving behind a very moisturizing lotion that isn't greasy or oily and doesn't cause make-up to melt! I use it both day and night, and it leaves my skin nourished, moisturized, and glowing!.
