I would have given this a four or five star rating in the past. I'd been using it for a long time and liked how thick it was. The product was so thin the last time I bought it that it didn't feel as substantial as a regular lotion. To find out what was going on, I sent Andalou an email. br>br>I was told that no changes to the formula had occurred, and that the thin consistency was due to the following: br>br>"Viscosity can vary a little from batch to batch within a specified range, as it can with any natural emulsion. This could be due to a variable in the manufacturing process, such as a raw material crop variance or the batch size produced. "br>br>Following that response, I discovered a box from a previous purchase that had no water listed as an ingredient anywhere. Water is now the second ingredient, explaining the thinner consistency and indicating a significant formula change. br>br>I emailed the company again, this time asking for an explanation and to see if any of their products had ingredients that were similar to the ones in this one. They had always been quick to respond up until that point, but they had never responded to this email. br>br>Now we're left with a few options. They'd been lying about the ingredients on their labels the whole time- I have my doubts because the consistency has shifted. They claimed the formula had not changed when in fact it had. When you compare the old and new ingredient lists, you'll notice a significant difference. br>br>I'm disappointed that the formula has been weakened. It was one of my favorites, and it was one of the few that didn't have a strong odor. I will not be purchasing any of Andalou's products in the future due to the lower quality of the product and the fact that the company has proven to be dishonest. br>br>If anyone wants more information, I'd be happy to post the entire email chain containing all of my interactions with Andalou.
When I first opened the box, I noticed that the container's lid was not securely fastened. It looked as if it had been twisted incorrectly, with the top slightly ajar. I opened the container and was hesitant to use it because the contents had a strange, spongy texture and did not appear to be the actual product. br>br>I have purchased products from Andalou in store and online on their sites because I love their products (it takes a long time to receive their products purchased on their site, which is why I did through Amazon) and have purchased body wash/hair care from Amazon, but I will not be purchasing face products, even perhaps other p products from Amazon. I'm afraid I won't be able to get a refund, but buyers beware.
The face cream had clearly been opened before and was completely dry. The box had been torn open, and the container's plastic seal had been broken. It's revolting. This item should never be resold after it has been returned opened.
I was so excited about this face cream that I tried a bunch of other products at a local health food store before deciding to order this one from Amazon because it seemed to be the right consistency and had good reviews. I've been using it for about a week now, and my face is beginning to flake, peel, and hurt. (And there are no refunds?) After spending so much money, I'm supposed to just leave this on my counter and let it go to waste? If that's the case, I'll have to look for other businesses that offer future returns.

When it comes to facial treatments, I follow the Korean 10-step process, but it's difficult to find a good night cream that will truly seal in all of the serums and potions you applied earlier, sealing them in through your nightly twists and turns for amazing morning results. Now I'm going to say something. This is a thick formula. However, I believe that if used correctly, it will benefit your skin. It's the final step, and a small amount goes a long way. My pores on my nose have shrunk, and there are no longer any dark circles under my eyes. On some days, I even believe I can get away with not wearing any under-eye concealer. In my opinion, this is significant progress!.
