Questions & Answers

How many times can an 8-ounce bottle be used?

With consistent use, my bottle lasted 7 months!

Is this good for oily skin? I've had a spray tan before and it didn't last long and looked awful. ?

I have oily skin and have been using this product for about four years; I love it! Here's how I've refined my technique to ensure that it always looks natural: br>1- Before you use this, exfoliate your skin like crazy!
2- Purchase the applicator mitt; this product is not for the faint of heart, and the mitt ensures that it is applied evenly. My mitt has been with me for about a year.
3- Vaseline was applied to areas where self-tanner had accumulated. It's never looked odd or spotty on the inside of wrists, elbows, knees, and ankles!
4- To extend the length of the tan, I use Jergens gradual tanner in between. It keeps the tan looking even because you've already built up color. It's also quicker because the mitt isn't necessary, and it dries quickly. br>At least, this is how it works for me; I can get it to last a week or two at most; I hope this helps!

Is the overall tan light, medium, or dark? Is it fake or orange in appearance? I've never used self-tanner before! Help! Thanks! ?

Actually, how much you use or dab on your face before smoothing it out is dependent on how much you use. This is where the applicator, which you can purchase separately, comes in handy. Before putting it to use, I lightly dampen it. Thankfully, the product does not have an orange hue to it.

When applied to the face, does it look great? Should I instead purchase the St Tropez Face Bronzing Lotion?

There is no need to buy a face bronzer in my opinion, as long as you rub it in thoroughly so that there are no dark spots. When I use it on my face, it gives me the appearance of a natural tan. It appeals to me.

THE BEST TANNER IN THE HISTORY OF TANNERS
5/5

Let's get this party started, y'all. I'm not a reviewer at all. Ever. I believe it was about 5 years ago that I wrote one. But I couldn't help myself with this one because it's the best Amazon purchase I've ever made. So, here's the deal: I'm a tanning addict. I used to go to the tanning bed almost every single day during the summer. I'd also go to the beach afterward on occasion. I got DARK, but it was never dark enough for me, so I carried on. I was completely enthralled. Well, I lost all of that tan over the winter because I got lazy and stopped going (and because it's too cold to go to the beach)(and because skin cancer is a real thing). So, I was recently having a conversation with a girlfriend, and I complimented her on her tan and inquired as to where she tans. She also informed me that she applies self-tanning mousse to her skin. And I thought to myself, "Dang, maybe I should try that. " Her tan appeared to be very natural. So, this is what I got. I purchased the bundle, which included the mousse, mitt, and gradual tanning lotion (which I have yet to try). I was so excited to try it when it arrived in the mail today. Also, whoa! This is the result of just ONE APPLICATION. It was incredibly simple to apply and dried quickly (unlike other self-spraying products I've tried). It also appears to be entirely natural. I did not use any filters or edit either image. I took both with flash and against my sheets to get the full effect. To summarize, I'm not disappointed at all, and I'm already planning on ordering another bottle when this one runs out. I think you'll need to get the mitt because I don't think you'll be able to put it on without it and your hands will turn black.

Self-tanning lotion with the best results - orange is not an option - It's a breeze
5/5

This is incredible stuff. I've tried every self-tanning product imaginable, and this is the one I'll stick with forever. It's incredibly quick and simple to use. Here's how I do it (it works every time):br>1. The night before, apply lotion to your entire body. Shower on Sunday afternoon/early evening, dry off, and apply this tanner (approximately one full pump per body part; calf=1pump, thigh=1pump, stomach=1-pump). (For example, 2 pumps). I cover my entire body with the glove and gently rub in circular motions until all of the edges are blended out. Then I have my boyfriend get two pumps on my back. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br It takes about 5 minutes to dry, but I always stand around naked for at least 20 minutes to be sure. I leave it on for the entire night (try not to wash your hands or face for the rest of the night so it all sinks in at the same time). 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. I shower and get ready for the day as usual in the morning. br>br>That's all there is to it. I've gone to bed with this stuff on and a white tshirt, and the tshirt hasn't picked up any color, so I know it doesn't come off. My tan usually lasts about a week, but it can last up to two weeks. It begins to fade after about a week (with some areas fading faster than others). It never fades if I do it every Sunday, and I'm always bronzed: ) I used to use FakeBake, but the process was too time consuming; there was a lot of waiting, and the color was always a tad orange on me. This one is the perfect color, it dries quickly, and it's simple enough to do every Sunday without procrastinating.

For those with fair skin, this is a must-have! We've come a long way with self-tanners! Because of the streaks, uneven coloring and fading, and foul odor, I haven't used self-tanners in at least ten years
5/5

I needed a quick tan before my upcoming vacation, so I did some research and decided to visit St Tropez. (I'm German/Irish, fair-skinned, green-eyed, and blonde-haired. ) When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the size (much larger than I expected). I followed the instructions for exfoliating and applying lotion. I was just doing a practice shot on my legs to see how it turned out. I used the mitt to apply the product, which is a must-have! I did four pumps on my legs, starting at the shin and working down, then the thigh and working down to the knee. I went light on my feet, super light on my feet, and there's some unevenness, but it's not orange; it's white; I didn't apply enough product for fear of it absorbing more into my feet. This is not the case. Because no review is complete without a photograph, I included them. I'll use a little more next time to get a deeper color, but it's a win for a first-time user and first-time St Tropez buyer!
P. I'm not sure what everyone is talking about when they say "smell. " The scent was pleasant and lasted only a few minutes after application. Old school self-tanners smelled awful, and that, along with the orange color, was a dead giveaway that you'd fake baked.
