My baby broke out into an awful rash after solely using this vaseline. She went to a dermatologist after turning to plain vaseline along with other medications prescribed by him! Keep your baby away from this if he or she suffers from eczema or You should stick to vaseline in plain form.
Because it says "Baby Vaseline" on the packaging, I ordered the 4 pack. The product prevents diaper rash on the bottom of my baby after each diaper change. As I began to research this product, I realized that baby vaseline was referred to as such because it has a fairly strong scent of baby powder. Despite the fact that this Vaseline was supposed to be made for sensitive skin, my daughter developed rashes the third day we put it on her. Now that I have three unopened packages of it, I don't know what to do with them. I am very disappointed with the outcome.

Had I read the description in its entirety, I would have known there were some important details. This product does not mention that it is scented on the label or on the title (except on the back of the jar, which lists "fragrance" as one of the ingredients). Having now known that this product is not hypoallergenic, I would not have purchased it - too risky for sensitive skin, and not what I expected from a hypoallergenic.
