La Roche-Posay Lipikar Balm AP+ Intense Repair Body Cream for Extra Dry Skin, Body Moisturizer to Hydrate & Soothe, Dermatologist Recommended, Sensitive Skin Tested

These are before and after photos of my son's hands after using Lipikar only four times (2 days). I've tried everything I could to treat his eczema and spent so much time and money to help him. With any other product, I never got these kinds of results.

This is the closest thing to the original Lipikar. You can only get this version of Lipikar if you are looking for the previous, now discontinued version. In the past, I used to buy La Roche Lipikar from CVS, the one that had English and French labels. I would never go back to regular lotion after that. To the best of my ability, I savored and stretched my last bottle as long as I could. In my experience, the new formulations of Lipikar (English only label) were okay but not as effective as the old formulations. The Lipikar Balm AP+ caught my eye, but I didn't want to purchase it for fear it was not In the course of a visit to the La Roche website, I was informed that yes, My Love, original Lipikar was discontinued in January 2018, but that you could replace it with Lipikar Balm AP+. Website said it was slightly thicker than original Lipikar, but it was comfortable for me and gave me the moisture and easy coverage I like without leaving my skin greasy like some.

The reason I decided to write a review was because I had read a few negative reviews, which led me to think twice about It does NOT have a weird odor as some reviews alleged. As near as I can tell, it does not even have any scent or fragrance. Some have reported strong smells or bad odors, but no strong odors or bad orders are evident. Additionally, because the packaging was shaped like a pump, I was concerned that it would be more of a lotion than a rich cream. I am not aware of such a situation. There is a lot of richness and thickening in this. The pump is difficult to use because the fluid is so thick. It only takes a little to make a noticeable difference. I feel like my skin is moisturized without feeling greasy afterward. The fact that I do not need to wait for it to be absorbed means I can move on to other things right away! It will heal the skin issue for which I bought it, and if it does, I will upgrade it to 5 stars! There are strange comments about the smell, but don't be put off by them. The product does not have any scent, and it does not smell bad.

I might even like this better than Baume D'Amour now that I've bought out all of the stock I could find after it was decided Baume D'Amour would no longer be sold in the United States. The health of my family is good. This moisturizer kept my dry skin moisturized for 24 hours, which is an amazing feat for me.

I used to sell my old formula for 39 dollars a bottle. In all the old bottles I kept them because I am going to cut them open one day and remove the remains that couldn't be pumped. The 90th). Also, the new formula is 50% less effective. I used to buy three bottles of the old formula per year, and now I have to buy three bottles every half year. Can I just say a few words? It didn't make me very happy to see it discontinued Yet I haven't found a replacement for this one The method does work for me, but now I need to apply more of it in order to make up for It is quite difficult to find a body moisturizer that suits my skin type. For new customers that want to try out the product without having to deal with dramatic dry skin, the price drop is good. The only problem is that it comes across as a turnoff to customers who are used to it. I'm taking away one star because of that.

It is obvious from the title of this review that I have skin that is highly reactive and highly sensitized. The holy grail lotion I was using was close to running out and I was unable to find it in any stores. Therefore, I grabbed my phone, went to Amazon, and started looking for lotion alternatives. Based on the smell alone, I am not sure what I would rely on for my every day use because it smells like aged white cheddar to me. The scent of cheese won't bother me, but I do prefer not to smell like it. It often smells like that to me when there is no fragrance in the fragrance. I like the texture of it very much, I like my lotions to be thick and a bit greasy because my skin is so dry that it often hurts to touch it. I was able to satisfy that need I woke up the next morning to the smoothest elbow (the one I lean on most) that I have ever experienced. The magic hour happened during application after I took a shower and then had a good night's sleep. In fact, my skin was so hydrated that, three days later, when I washed it again, it was silky soft and even pliable. Neither would I use it on my face. I'm reactivated to niacinamide on my face and neck, so I can't bask in the glory of ultra moisturized skin there, but I'll take it for what it's worth. In response to a microfiber washcloth, I developed a severe skin reaction. I noticed that my skin was dry and peeling after the allergic reaction. In order to be able to restore my skin to its normal condition, my dermatologist recommended this lotion. Following a few days of use, my skin now feels softer than it has in a long time. My results have improved dramatically since I began using it daily. Although the product is good, I gave it only 4 stars because it can be a bit greasy in the daytime especially with sunscreen applied. My plan is to keep using this product in the long run.
