It's thick, but it blends in nicely. It should suit those with extremely dry skin. It's the most effective moisturizer I've discovered for extremely dry skin.
This is what I use on my daughter's face.
It lasts about a day and a half for me.

My skin has a few problems for me. First, my arms and legs are extremely dry; second, I have psoriasis, so anything I apply must not irritate it or contain perfumes; and third, I turned 60, and as if that wasn't bad enough, I began to develop crepe skin on my arms and legs, which is completely terrifying me. I've been trying everything I can think of to help with my crepe skin, and I've got to say, this Bioderm balm is one of my favorites. It's not quite a cream; in fact, it's a little thicker, but it gets the job done. It's a little sticky, but it has no scent, and it makes the crepe skin look so much better, even after only three days of use. So far, I'm really pleased with my purchase.
Sufferer of atopic dermatitis. I have been known to scratch all night. My skin was calm the first time I applied it. No lie. Because this is a thick barrier cream, it's also useful for re-establishing a healthy skin barrier to aid healing. This isn't a light-hearted situation.
After using the same manufacturer's oil body wash, I applied the lotion. It's emollient, to say the least. It's simple to understand. It felt as if my skin was drinking it up, rather than gulping it down. It has a slight sheen to it, but it does not make me feel greasy. I'm going to try using it after my shower and before going to bed to allow it to absorb fully. There were no issues. br>
FYI. It has a distinctive scent. It has a light floral scent that I find feminine. I wouldn't combine it with any other scent. br>After a few more uses, I'll update my review. For me, it has the potential to be a five-star product.
From a baby box, I got one for free. Because it's thick and sticky, I didn't care for it. However, the dressing caused severe skin damage after I delivered my baby via c section. Because so much of my skin was peeled away, it was excruciatingly painful. The hospital's skin barrier cream was ineffective. I needed something to calm my skin and keep it from rubbing against the fabric when I got home. I apply a thick layer, and the skin heals in two days! I spent three weeks in the hospital trying to get it under control, and it worked. I continue forward. After using this for two days, my skin was back to normal. I would strongly suggest it.
Fabulous! My skin becomes dry and coarse when there isn't enough humidity in the air. This is after my skin has changed due to the bathing oil. It's becoming softer, and the leather-like texture is fading! This is something I'm going to use for the rest of my life.
This lotion has been a lifesaver for my skin during the colder months. My skin is sensitive and I suffer from contact dermatitis, which is made worse by the fact that I have to wear heavier clothing in the winter. I was using an all-natural homemade moisturizer (shea butter and essential oils), but as winter approached, nothing worked. My dermatitis had flared up to the point where I didn't want to take any medication or put anything on my body that contained harsh chemicals. I was on the lookout for a non-alcoholic beverage. I decided to try Bioderma instead of a toxic moisturizer. It's saved my skin a lot of times. The second bottle is on its way to me. So far, the first bottle has lasted me about two and a half months. Only once a day, after a shower in the evening, do I need to apply it. It provides enough moisture for 24 hours, though it is a little heavy in my opinion. With the arrival of spring, I'm concerned that the lotion will become sticky on the skin. I'll continue to use it until the summer arrives, when I'll switch to a lighter lotion. Definitely going to stock up for the upcoming winter season.
My skin was getting so dry that it was itching and peeling, so I decided to try this. This lotion is good, but I've found that other products that are just as good for a third of the price are available.
This is a fantastic lotion for people who have dry, itchy skin. It leaves a slight tacky residue, especially in damp areas. However, I believe it to be the most effective hydrating lotion I've ever used. There isn't much in the way of odor. To smell it, you must press your nose against your skin. There is a faint fresh scent that you can detect. It is unlikely to bother anyone with allergies, and it will not interfere with your perfume. This lotion is one of my favorites.
