A coconut scent is a myth, and every review that makes reference to it is incorrect. I can smell a strong, perfume-like scent of some kind of manufactured flower (not jasmine). The Dove Shea soap has a mild scent, and we prefer it to others. Neither my wife nor I like the smell of this pink coconut/jasmin product. The Dove Shea bar still gets two stars because it cleaned and moisturized as much as this product did.
I am really pleased with it! I like the way my skin feels after using it. There is a fresh and clean smell to the scent, not overwhelming. It is good for my entire body but I particularly like it for my face to remove makeup. I feel other soaps can be too abrasive to use on my face. You should definitely check it out!.

The bar soap works much the same as the original Dove bar product I have used this product several times, and it makes my skin feel very smooth when applied. My skin feels refreshed after use. I am only able to tell the difference in the color and fragrance (pink vs white. ) A few times you might smell the coconut scent, but the smell can be extremely subtle and won't be detected unless you actively seek it out or if you have the coconut near you.
