I received a sample in the mail and sat it in my drawer for months. I would buy it in a heartbeat. Since I ran out of my make up remover, I grabbed this one just to tide me over until Ulta opened. It depends on the products I use, but no matter how much I moisturize, my skin will dry out and flake easily. Also, I have really bad adult acne (which means that I honestly have the most terrible combination skin ever), so this stuff is amazing to me. I feel my skin is left feeling refreshed and clean after using it. It removes every bit of my make up and hydrates my skin. Soon after, I purchased liquid Ceramidin, which, combined with Detox Matte, has been heavenly for a nighttime routine. I have also seen a marked reduction in my acne (which I believe is from other conditions, but I think it is related to Ceramidin). Those are the last steps I take in the evening before I turn out the lights--I keep the products (plus my retinol serum) on my bedside table. The product is easily used alone, and your skin will remain soft and not even slightly tight after using it. Camping is also a great option. There is no way that you will regret making this purchase. Dr. Jart products have gone over and above my expectations since I switched from BB cream and all my moisturizers to him and I have never been disappointed.

For a toner, I love it! my only cleanser as it would take too many times to really get my face cleaning but I do use it as a toner and it has helped my face especially the area around my chin.
