It doesn't sting my eyes or cause my lashes to break when I rub it in well with my fingers and then wipe it away with a Kleenex or facial cleansing wipe. It appeals to me.
I only use a drop or two of eye remover on a damp cotton ball when I use it. For each eye, I use a dry cotton ball. I go over my eyes with the remover, then go over my eyes with a wet washcloth to remove it. I'm not going to use anything else because this remover is so good. I don't need to wash my face any longer. Rather than the traditional round cotton ball, I prefer the square cotton ball.

For the past 20 years, I've been using Avon eye makeup remover with no issues. I've tried a few different brands out of necessity, and some of them have caused me to experience burning, itching, and redness. This has a creamy, soft, and dense consistency rather than an oil, and it does act as an eye moisturizerbr>br>I use it by dampening a cotton ball, applying a small amount of remover to it, and wiping away the eye makeupbr>br> Before I do this, I wet my entire face and then cleanse it with my face cleanser. This ensures that all makeup and residue are removed, leaving only a clean face. Personally, I would never remove makeup with anything dry like a tissue, as it feels too scratchy. Along with the fact that all of the scrubbing will most likely cause you to lose lashes and use more product than you need.
This is something I've been doing for as long as I can remember. I've tried others, but this one is a creamy substance that's non-allergenic and comes off easily with a cotton ball. It's non- infuriating Even the best (Clinique) is bad for my eyes and doesn't work as well as it should. There is no Avon shipping, and the price for a set of two is incredible.

This Avon Moisture Effective Eye Makeup Remover does a good job of removing eye makeup. It's gentle, and it removes my waterproof eye makeup effectively.

I wanted something gentle to use on my lashes because I was losing one too many. It has a thick, creamy consistency that is easy to work with. The following is what irritates me about it: 1) It necessitates a thorough rinsing followed by wiping with a towel or wippies. And 2) it doesn't get rid of all of the mascara in one go! To get rid of all of my mascara, waterproof or not, I have to use it at least twice. It seems to me that having to use it more than once to remove mascara defeats the purpose. That was the only purpose I had in mind for it. When I thoroughly apply it, it also gets into my eyes. This makeup remover would be a no-go for me. Because it moisturizes the eye area, it earns two stars.

Because I have eczema on my eyelids, I have to avoid using makeup removers that are drying. I've tried it a few times and it does leave a residue on your eye. It's a light residue that my skin absorbs after a while, leaving my eyelids soft. It also doesn't aggravate my eczema and is assisting in its resolution. I'm going to keep using it.
