SHANY Glamour Girl Makeup Kit Eye shadow/Blush/Powder - Vintage

This is pretty good for a brand I'm not familiar with. This is a brand I have never heard of before, but I decided it was worth a try. I thought this would be the best "name brand" option for her. What a great gift! In lieu of a birthday gift, I purchased this for my 8 year old daughter, since she will beg me for her makeup as she loves to play dress up with her friends. You can understand why I bought her her own set since Nars and Mac are so expensive. It surprised me how nice the makeup is in this set. I did read a few reviews saying that the product appears different in person and that it contains powder instead of the lip gloss/lipstick. As a result, I wanted to leave my review a comment to say that the kit was just as pictured, with the lipgloss and lipstick.

I am always hesitant to shop for cheap make up because who knows how well it will hold up in the long run? I have, however, been pleasantly surprised with this product. Much nicer than I I find this to be a very good value for the price. There is a good quality to the product and it is packaged well. There is a lot of pigment in the color, a little goes My daughter bought it for us to play with, and I am considering buying a set for myself and throwing away my old makeup. It is difficult to see many of the colors applied with my eye shadow brush (eye shadow wands don't work well on wrinkly eyelids like mine!) that are so light, you can hardly notice them at all. I use my tweezers to scrape up a bit of powder, then mix it with some Nyx Multitasking Medium, it works like a charm! As soon as I received the blush and lip brushes, I promptly threw them away. If you run to the drugstore, you can pick up some softer brushes for no more than a few dollars. The fact that there are four blush colors makes me happy, though the colors don't quite suit me, and I have never really worn blush before. The eye shadows have excellent pigment and would work well for use as eye shadows. (with this palette, you can do Elvira for sure! glosses have a nice variety of colors, but I find them to be a bit stickier than my preferences, so I'll leave them For the value that is offered, it's impossible to beat the price. They are so durable and the colors are awesome, those pictures do not do it justice! I got one for my niece and one for my daughter and then I bought one for myself after. I used to buy quality make up that costs more because I thought it was better, but The Shiney kit and Shiney are extremely impressive to me. The item was purchased as a gift for a 10 year old who has just started using This kit appealed to me for the wide range of eyeshadows it had and because it carried a couple lip glosses and blushes. The eye shadows were very pigmented and of high quality. I was quite surprised by how well they worked. My wife is half tempted to buy one for herself! I have found the only downside to this kit to be how hard it is Even for me, it's a struggle to open it myself even though the 10 year old can do it. This would be a five star product with no doubt if they could fix the opening issue.
