Menopause has left me with dry and unevenly toned skin, so I have a lot of other issues. In addition, I have lost a lot of the brightness and tone that used to be there except for brown patches, so it made the colors I used to relish look clownish. As I could see several Jane Iredale products in the kit, I liked the idea of the mineral foundation, blush, eye shadow, and lip/cheek stain all in one package. It is very pleasing to see products that have a natural appearance. In my opinion, the blush is a bit bright, but if I put it under the mineral foundation it gets tamed down. It's important for me to use a lot of moisturizer first, and I've found that with a tinted moisturizer and mineral foundation on top, I achieve an even, bright, and fresh complexion. This is a sampling of products. There is nothing particularly outstanding among them. Though there were different shades of light provided, I felt the medium light was too light for me. There was a darker hue to the medium light. Apparently, I wasn't the type to use a brand that was famous for covering problem areas in skin. I did not think darker shades would have made any difference in the sun damage. We used natural orange lipstick back in the day before colored lipstick became common. This product is not suitable for aging lips (pale lips). This little brush is ideal for applying.

Love the concealer and the rouge for quick transformations. This means that on planes or during travel, I can grab this in my bag and keep my makeup at home, without having to carry around all my makeup. It is self-explanatory, very lightweight, and easy to use.
