With my new brush, I was able to put the right amount of product on it at such an ease, which was also fantastic. (can spread out the foundation evenly to create an even layer and then collect evenly on your makeup brush. I like the way it goes on so controlled and it looks so natural! There's a good chance your foundation will be saved. It was hard to use half of the foundation I placed on the plate because I placed a very small amount of foundation on The spare I have is so great to have. Consequently, I wasted a great deal of time using the hard way to apply my makeup. It would have been great if I had been made aware of.
COVID ended up getting me in even though I did not love the price point for this item - am no longer able to get my nails done, so even though it says it is for makeup, we use it to put poly gel and glitter together so that we can make a glittery gel for my nails. It has worked beautifully and done the trick!.
The palette is amazing! Blending my foundation with it is what I do. This is an easy and very long lasting product. The tool is sharp, so I wouldn't bring it along on a trip. There's a tool that comes with it I have never used but I'm sure it will come in handy at some point.
The quality of the product is excellent, and the materials are As a foundation brush and concealer brush, I use it to apply foundation and concealer and to blend foundation with glow formulas, etc. It's the perfect size. I spray with alcohol at the end, wipe off with tissue and I'm done.
A plastic storage bag with a separate slot for the spatula came with the palette and Cleansing the palette is easy because it can be wiped off easily. have not used the spatula yet, but it's a good size and weight and appears to have an excellent shape for scooping out of jars (one side has a rounded edge, while the other has a sharp edge). If you desire, you could use the palette as a mini mirror, since it is reflective on both sides. The only con I can see is that it smudges as easily as any other mirror and holds water spots as well. The fact that you'd need another mirror if you covered a palette with products isn't an issue for me (particularly if you're going to conceal it I like this palette because now I can get product right on my skin without having to pour it on my hands.
My expectations were that it would work best for blending foundation, etc. if you have ever used a palette knife to mix oil paints or pastels as an artist, you know what I mean. In comparison to my last palette, this one is even sturdier and heavier. One that is lighter is preferable to me. According to my observations, the palette knife tool is used primarily for nail art. We need to make the knife longer by at least one inch. 24" - 25" I wish it was 1" longer and thinner so it would pick up the product better and allow it to blend more easily.
In terms of the palette itself, it In order to prevent the black thumb grip from detaching and rolling across your fingers while pressing down on the palette, I superglued it. Originally I could see my reflection on it when I purchased it. A week after buying it, it appeared to be scratched up so badly that it looked like one of those distorted mirrors that kids scratch at a park. This is a very cheap type of metal that easily gets scratched, so it seems to always look foggy and dirty now.
