Hello Karen, this item is not meant to smell vinegary. It may be defective, but I would not say it is not authentic. If it is, you are more than welcome to exchange it As we have not had complaints like this before, you shouldn't have this problem again.

Miracles occur when you use this stuff. It has almost been gone since I had a large dark spot on my hand. As well as lightening my sun spots on my face, it also helped make my eyes brighter. As you only need a little bit of this product, it lasts a long time. This product is worth the investment.
This product is great when mixed with Retna A Use it alone for the first time.
