In the last three years, I've used this product exclusively during the summer. Since I live in Texas, the summer lasts for about 8 months. I also don't feel like it sits on top of my skin. As for the smell, the smooth texture and the fact it won't settle into fine lines even the slightest bit, it is very light and non sticky. There is no better product for my face that I've ever used. It stung and was hard to apply so I returned it. I did try it with self-tanner recently, which I liked, but found it sticky. In my opinion, this product is meant for people who have nice skin (without lots of stuff you need to cover up really) regardless of age.
The stuff I'm talking about is awesome. My skin is covered with it almost every day, sometimes alone, sometimes beneath my foundation, and occasionally over it. I would like the color to have a bit more depth (I am pale), but not a true tan. There's just a hint of rosiness. This is a great looking design.
