In addition to making my lashes look longer and thicker, this primer also made them look darker. My Mascara of choice after applying the primer was Maybelline Lash Sensationals Full Fan Effect. I found it worked well with the primer.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS PRIMER? I realize it may not get published, but what is exactly the point of it? In the past, I have thought applying to the mascara before applying it would help it go on softer and adhere to my lashes better I found that all this did was make massive clumps of white on my eyelashes Then I applied Mascara on top of this product (after letting it set/dry) and I was left with clumpy, flaky, straight lashes. There's no time to start over, so I'm off to work for a day of looking like a dump.

My favorite lash blast mascara is lash blast pro. I've been using this primer for a few weeks now, and my lashes are fuller but don't appear apply the black mascara in the last few seconds before this primer has dried.
