Questions & Answers

Do you start with the color powder and then finish with the wax to set it? For which product should you use which tool?

I apply it to my brows by dipping a small amount in wax and then powder. At first, I followed other people's advice and waxed first, then powdered, or powder first, then waxed, but I found that the wax made my brows look oily, so I mixed it up and got the perfect result.

I have graying, almost white hair and it appears that I lack brows. Is blond the best color to use?

The blond is my choice. My hair has started to turn gray; My brows are dark and bristly, what little I have left! The lighter of the two "blond" powders, however- They're more of a two-toned light brown. It appears to blend in well with the sparse rows I still have! Despite the fact that I am not a makeup expert, I found this product to be simple to apply. The brushes are short in order to fit into the small case, but the stiff, angled one works as an applicator, and the other blends in the stabilizing gel. If I really want to get it perfect, I use a magnifying mirror, but I can also just slap some color on and go.

What is your strategy for utilizing it?

Depending on how shaped I want my eyebrows to be, I use the darker powder on the outer edges of the brows that are more thinned out and the gray powder on the inner part. I only use the wax if the powder doesn't stay on my face all day. (It appears that the wax is applied first to ensure that the powder adheres to the skin for a longer period of time.)

My hair is medium brown, and I am 54 years old. Which color would suit me best?

My hair is medium ash brown, my eyes are blue, and my skin is fair. I purchased the dark brown/brown color and apply it lightly. I'm 58 years old, and my brows are thinning and becoming lighter. I can easily shape and thicken my hair without looking unnatural. The hair on the outer arch also has a tendency to stand straight up. After the powder, the wax helps to tame it nicely while not interfering with the powder. Waxing first, on the other hand, darkens the powder because the wax is colored.

The ideal complement to cool-weather outfits
5/5

brunettes with good muscle definition! Colors in make-up are difficult for me to work with. I have a very fair complexion and a calm demeanor. skin that is well-toned and has a medium-toned complexion Hair color is a dark ash brown. When your skin is as pale as mine, there isn't much room for tonal error — it's almost like painting on a white canvas — so finding a brow product has been difficult. Almost all brown brow products, I've discovered, have red undertones that clash with the cool gold-toned brows. The naturally minky/mousy color of my hair has green undertones. Blonde-targeted products are typically cooler in nature. They're toned, but they're a little too light for my dark hair. br>br>Until recently, one of my favorite brow products was this powder from the Brunette palette — it's easy to use, natural-looking, and doesn't look too harsh or heavy against my skin's whiteness — but it's *very* red, so it's been a dab'll-and-dab'll-and-dab'll-and-dab'll-and-dab'll-and-da In most cases, a cooler blonde brow pencil is used in conjunction with this look. When it came time to replace my nearly-dead laptop, I knew exactly what I wanted. Despite the fact that it appeared to be quite warm, I crossed my fingers and ordered this Ash/Taupe version. The thumbnail has been toned. br>br>Holy moly, am I glad I took a chance and did something different! It looks great with my natural hair color and is a lot cooler. I was under the impression that she was more toned than the photos suggested. The darker color has a soft gold undertone that is slightly warm but not red, while the lighter tone is a cool brown that appears almost grey in the pan ("ash" is correct!). When used, however, it is truly *heavenly*. The lighter shade is ideal for filling in sparse areas of hair, while the darker shade is perfect for enhancing the shape of my brows. I usually blend it in with the arch's inner edge and highest point. It rubs off easily, like most powders, so you may need to touch it up in the middle of the day. If you've been active during the warmer months, it'll cost you more, but it'll be worth it. br>br>The wax, brush, and spoolie are all lovely additions to the palette, though the wax application is a little unwieldy for me. I have to be careful not to get too much of it because it melts easily with the warmth of my finger. I usually just dab it on with my pinky and comb it through with the spoolie, or set it with a clear mascara. br>br>Because the color difference from what I saw on the listing surprised me, I've included a few photos of the product in natural light to show you how it looks in person, alongside what's left of my Brunette palette for comparison. To summarize: br>br> I highly recommend it, especially for the price!br>br>I hope this information is useful!.

Anastasia Beverly Hill's Brow Duo is a (very close) dupe for this! I've always been a big fan of high-end cosmetics, but I quickly discovered that my bank account wasn't
5/5

As a result, I had to rethink my makeup choices and look for something less expensive. I've used NYX products in the past, and they're fantastic. I used to use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Duo, and I loved it, but the store was always sold out of my shade, and the price was too high. Luckily, I discovered NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder on Amazon, and I was able to find it quickly and easily. I was blown away by how pigmented and effective this brow powder is. It also lasts a lot longer than the Anastasia Brow Duo, which is quite expensive. It has a lot of pigment and does an excellent job. br>br> I'd say this product is a very close dupe for Anastasia Brow Duo, but it's worth a little more money in my opinion. This product is inexpensive and gives you a beautiful brow. In terms of brow makeup, I've discovered a new go-to!.

Beginners will find it simple
5/5

Everything I buy in dark brown is too red, so I went with taupe! My skin is light and cool, and my hair is dark. This stuff lasts a long time, and despite the brush's cheap appearance, it works well with this product.

This is where the wax comes in
4/5

Who knew that as you get older, your brows change? br>br>Not only do I require a color with a little more substance to fill in areas where there is less hair, but some eyebrow hairs have begun to stick up or out! Both of these issues are alleviated by using this brow powder and wax. br>br>I have light brows and am a redhead. Although I use the darker color sparingly, the auburn/red color is quite nice. I usually start with the powder and work my way to the wax. br>br>Just as bad hair days exist, "bad eyebrow days" appear to exist as well. " Today was one of those days, and after finishing my brows, I felt compelled to write a review. ".

brow powder in a gray color Finally, I've found a gray brow powder that I can use
5/5

There is salt in my possession. This is the first brow powder that works for me because I have pepper hair (mostly silver) and my brows are nearly non-existent. existent. My hair used to be brown, but now it's black. Brown brows appeared to be a bit of a gimmick. The color black was far too dark. This is some excellent material - It lasts all day, and you can add a touch of the darker shade in the evening for added drama.

I purchased three colors, keeping two
4/5

To compare, I bought Black/Grey, Dark Brown/Brown, and Taupe/Ash all at the same time, and only Taupe/Ash was returned. If you use a light touch, the shades are somewhat forgiving. My hair is black, and I'm a light-skinned woman with a Neutral Cool 25 complexion. Because I have medium skin, I steer clear of any brownish powders with red undertones. (Honestly, I'm not sure why this is so common. ) The good news is that the Black/Grey has a very cool tone, and the Dark Brown/Brown, despite being slightly warmer, is still usable. I couldn't use the Taupe/Ash because it was too yellow. br>br>The inclusion of mini tools is a nice touch, though the angled brush isn't very useful due to its plastic-like texture. bristles with a lot of grit I already have an angled brush with a long handle that I use. The mini spoolie, on the other hand, is perfect. br>br>For the record, the "Grey" side of the Black/Grey isn't all that scary. It's actually more of an ashy DARK TAUPE in my opinion. In most cases, I combine the two.

Your brows are fantastic! I've never wanted to use a makeup kit for my eyebrows because I've always had strange brows

I tried it on a whim and discovered that if done correctly, it doesn't look like you're wearing makeup and can give you a realistic appearance.
