I tried this on my lips and it barely hurt! Additionally, I used the larger extension for my legs and I felt it was a bit rough (in terms of dry shaving), but I used the one for my face on my legs and it did such a great job cleaning up my legs with little discomfort. As far as my armpits are concerned, it works well. There was no cleaning brush included with it, which turned out to be a disappointment. Also, I don't like the fact that it's made in China, so I'm hoping to be able to use this for a long time without having to replace it. However, I am happy with the results.
