There is no animal testing involved with the Shampoo + Body Wash.
Aveeno and Cerave are much easier to rinse out, but this baby shampoo made rinsing much more difficult. I just used it today and my son has tons of hair for a three month old and I was surprised at the amount of washing I had to do. Although I understand what you mean, so far I'm enjoying it. I'm going to wait until it dries out more to see if I like it

Based on the information found on their website on this shampoo, it does appear to be vegan and chemical free. We use both US and imported materials in our products to make them in the USA. This product has not been tested on animals and does not contain any animal byproducts. You can feel comfortable knowing that our hypoallergenic body wash and shampoo duo is made without harmful chemicals that irritate Coconut oil contains soothing properties that moisturize and soothe the skin. It is also made up of natural ingredients such as sweet almond oil and Jojoba oil. As a customer, I use many of the products produced by The Honest Company that I highly recommend!

An absurdly tiny piece of bubble wrap enclosed a box that was three times the size of the product. There was no sign of it on the door. In reality, my real concern is if you are severely allergic to almost everything. It is not recommended to buy this product. My daughter, 14 years old, seems to be allergic to anything and This product took a lot of research before I bought it. She was so excited to take a real shower today. The product has a pleasant scent and it seems to be a good one. There is a feel of soap on my hands. Here is a soap that might be a good choice if you are looking for one. It can be overwhelming to live with allergies and search for something that will provide relief. The product that you are looking at is not that one.

The thought of writing this hurts me because I believe that using natural products is the best way to keep your body healthy. We have used it as a shampoo and body wash for the whole family. In terms of a shampoo, it's not quite working. No matter how many times we rinse and repeat, our hair is limp and greasy. That's too bad.
My problem is that I hate having to throw away/recycle this nice pump container, even though the product is great and I love the quick pump. In a message to Honest Company, I asked them if they had a large refill size so I could re-use the container. They said no, but they would pass the suggestion on What the heck? A copy of this was purchased for my daughter. Despite having sensitive skin, she has not had an adverse reaction to any other products offered by the honest company. She, however, broke out in a severe rash on both her scalp and neck after this one. We have to take Benadryl and hydrocortisone cream for a few days before we can get rid of this. A customer contacted an honest company to ask for an exchange for a different scent, but they refused to do it because they will not stand behind products that were.
Both of my children broke out after using this soap. I was really hoping for better results from this soap. Since one of my children has sensitive skin, I thought that this would be an ideal choice for her, but I was wrong! (I think the lavender is a bit too strong in it. In addition, you have to use quite a bit to get any type of lather and the cost is too high to keep Using this product may cause you to break out if you have had a break out in the past with lavender products.
It surprised and surprised me how dry my skin became after using this product. I can't use it as a body wash, so I cannot use it for that purpose.
