It has always been a struggle for me to have greasy hair- within a few hours of washing, my hair looks weighed down and almost wet. I have looked all over for products that will fix this problem as it is very embarrassing. My reading of the reviews of this product has inspired me to buy it- as many people say that it has changed their greasy hair and they no longer have to wash their hair every day. The product did not work on my hair as I'd hoped, but it was still disappointing. My hair was even more greasy than usual because of this product. I felt the difference in my hair after I had a shower, but when I woke up the next morning, my hair looked quite wet and I had to get a shower again. I have done this multiple times and I always get the same result- greasier hair the next day. Different people find this product useful in a different way, and unfortunately, I did not find it useful.

This was bought to make a vitamin C hair mask* to fade my hair color so that I could do a color correction on it since it came out too dark for me. In fact, as with most clarifying shampoos, I found this one to be very drying so I followed it up with a conditioning mask for my hair because it wasn't enough conditioner by itself. "It claims to be gentle on the color of your hair. " The product would be effective on color-treated hair, but I would not use it on hair that is already colored or drier than usual. The mixture of shampoo and about 7500mg of crushed vitamin C tablets, which I mixed using the shampoo, gave me a lighter shade of hair by mixing it with wet hair and applying it for an hour, washed and conditioned as normal. I noticed an improvement after several minutes.

The shampoo is good in general There was, however, a description for this item that read "Neutrogena Shampoo 6 oz (Pack of 3). " If I was an idiot, I would assume the phrase "(Pack of 3)" meant that you were purchasing a pack of 3 shampoo bottles. The listing states I would receive three bottles but I only received one. So don't buy expecting to get three bottles as it claims.

It does not last as long for me because I use a hair mask after I dye my hair, but you should use some kind of in-hair product to make your hair look healthier After showering or using conditioner (or both), you can leave it on until the next day.

My hair is dry and curly and needs lots of moisturizers, but those build up over time (even when I wash my hair every three days).
