One of the first few ingredients in this product is dimethicone. The silicone family includes dimethicone. However, on the advice of my hair restoration salon, I use this on my long hair and have not noticed any build-up, greasiness, or other issues.
Yes. It's something I use on my hair both when it's wet and when it's dry. It reduces frizz and adds shine to my straight hair, which gets dry from swimming. The dryness is alleviated with the use of this product. When you first apply it to your hair, it smells like vanilla cookies. It's something I've bought a few times before.
It has a vanilla cookie scent to it. Smooth Again shampoo is a brand I'm unfamiliar with.
What's the cost? This isn't a "grocery store" price range.

My hair is normally "stringy," as some might describe it. My hair has been beautiful since I began using this product five or six years ago. I would recommend this product to anyone who is trying to grow their hair out or who colors their hair because it is long, strong, and in better shape than it has ever been in my life.
This is a fantastic hair oil that isn't too heavy. Everyone will use it differently, but I find that using a few pumps of this before styling my hair with a volumizing spray works best for me. "Young Again" gives my hair a lot of body and texture, as well as the same natural shine, without weighing it down. It also feels like it's nourishing and hydrating my hair, so it's a win-win situation.
Unruly hair is smoothed out with this product.
For my NBR hair extensions, I absolutely adore this product. Hair looks and feels great after use, and it's not greasy or oily. For hair extensions, this is a must-have.
