I believe that you should apply the product in the same manner that you would on yourself. I haven't had any issues or health problems as a result of using the product, but I believe it is important to consider the age of the child because children's skin is more sensitive.
I have long, thin dreads, so I only use it once a week; the bottle recommends using it once a day, but that's too much for my hair. It is. For my hair, this is a good product.
It's fine for me because I use an Aloe Vera spray with my oil.
Every time I've thought of using it, I've done so; This could happen several times throughout the day. That's something I do occasionally to compensate for the times when I forget to use it. I also use it in conjunction with the wild growth oil on occasion. My hair appears to have grown out. has accelerated its growth. I'm also a natural born leader. When I wear wigs, I braid or cornrow my hair. So, I suppose it all depends on how you plan to style your hair. For the purposes of how I've been using it, it works great for protective styles.

I've been using it for about a month now and it's fantastic. I highly recommend it. Stress caused me to lose my hair, but it has since grown back.
In general, I like this product; it has a better scent and isn't as greasy to the touch as the wild growth hair oil. I'm currently wearing knotless braids, so I'm using this to promote hair growth.
Amazing! During quarantine, I shaved my head because 1) I wanted to return to my natural color and 2) if there was ever a time to do so, now was it. My hair was cut to a level two guard, which is 1/4 inch long. After two weeks, my hair has grown to be well over 3/4 inch long! I'm blown away. Apart from applying this to my scalp after I shower, I haven't changed anything else. It is, without a doubt, a miracle worker.

It smells like black castor oil and is a thin liquid substance, so you won't need much to get the job done. It almost has a minty scent to it. It's something I'm looking forward to putting to use.
This oil has a special place in my heart. It's the ideal light oil that's thick enough to hydrate my scalp and hair while remaining light. It has a light peppermint scent that isn't overpowering, and it smells nothing like JB castor oil. My strands love this because I'm black with thick, coarse, 4C, low porosity hair. Many products felt like they were just sitting on my hair because of my hair porosity, but I believe they actually absorb into my normally dry strands. Especially if I use a nickel to quarter-sized amount and work it through my hair (saturating my ends) before wrapping my hair for the night. Everything appears to be softer the next morning. My ends; Which feels exactly like straw (lol) and is incredibly soft, as if I've had it trimmed. Don't hold off on purchasing this!.
It smells like mint, and my hair has been growing a little faster, but I'm not sure why.
