Professional Barber Hair Cutting Scissors/Shears (6.5 Inches) with Fine Adjustable Tension Screw and Detachable Finger Rest - Silver

I've never had a pair of professional haircutting scissors before, and I'm not a hair stylist. Maybe there's something I'm missing out on when it comes to hair cutting scissors. So, here's my take on it. I expected them to work in the same way as regular scissors, but with a sharper blade for cutting hair. These blades aren't like regular scissors in that they don't line up perfectly. Unless you hold the two blades at an exact angle, they will not touch. They appear to have a metal piece that prevents them from touching unless you place your fingers in the holes at just the right angle. The blades are razor-sharp and can cut if properly held, but I find that difficult.

Scissors are one of my greatest loves. It was put to immediate use after I received it. I've been trimming my 4c natural hair with the same fabric scissors I use to cut fabric until a friend told me I was crazy for doing so, and that's why I had split ends. I bought a pair of hair/barber scissors on her advice. The blades of these scissors are razor sharp. My hair is simple to manage and trim. PS: With silver/gold, it's particularly lovely. I'm taken aback.

I didn't want to overspend in the hopes of finding my most expensive pair of shoes. I wish I had ordered these first because it would have saved me a lot of money. These are the best shears I've ever owned as a barber and hairstylist for nearly 20 years. They have a buttery touch when it comes to cutting hair. My coworkers were quick to order theirs after I recommended them to them. When it comes to pricing, these shears are a perfect example of the phrase "Never judge a book by its cover. " I'm ordering another pair of these shears, as well as the thinning shears, because I adore them.

I'm currently stationed in Kuwait, where the barbers lack the best hair-cutting equipment. My barber (the same one who cuts my hair here) can cut a mean fade, but his scissors for cutting the top of my hair were dull and cheap. I gave them to him as a surprise and instructed him to try them on my hair. He was ecstatic and couldn't express his gratitude enough for the shears. I, on the other hand, could not thank him enough for cutting my hair as well as my barber's shears in the United States. I am 100% pleased and know NOTHING about hair cutting scissors except that the sharper the better they are. Thank you, Amazon, for making these scissors more affordable, as I now look forward to all of his haircuts. Who says you can't have a great haircut while serving in the military?.

If I was going to take the risk of doing it myself, I figured I should equip myself with the necessary tools. I've previously used kitchen shears to cut my hair - I know. These scissors made all the difference in the world! All I had to do was adjust the tension, and they were ready to cut. While the small rubber finger liners have a tendency to pop out while in use, the scissors are just as comfortable to use without them. Just remember to use caution when handling these because they are extremely sharp and will easily cut you.

It is advantageous to use. These are what I used to cut my own and my mother's hair. I'm no hairdresser, and I'm sure a professional could tell, but I enjoy having control over my own hair and despise paying $20 (or even $60) for a trim. Millimeters off, to be exact. Either that, or they went too far with the cuts. These are simple to use, sharp, and I've never had a problem with split ends with them. This was an excellent purchase.

A good hair stylist and friend had advised me to purchase a good pair of hair cutting scissors. This is a perfect example of that. They're extremely simple to operate and feel great in my hands. The ease with which they cut through hair, wet or dry, has me very impressed. It's like night and day when you use them versus the low-cost pair. These scissors are highly recommended if you plan on doing any hair cutting yourself, even if it's just your bangs. When you use them, you'll feel like a pro! Just a word of warning: they're razor-sharp and will easily sever skin - When I was cutting my husband's hair, I did cut my hand a couple of times. But, thank goodness, I didn't cut his ear off!.

These were purchased to help me cut my squirmy two-year-old's hair. year- the hair of my ten-year-old daughter My husband and I were pretty sure she wouldn't sit still in a salon, but she needed a haircut because her back section was growing much faster than the rest of her hair. (I kept saying it looked mullet-like. ) ) After some deliberation, I decided to take a chance and try cutting it myself. Isn't it just a matter of hair? She is also two years old. Having said that, I had no experience with hair cutting. Apart from the fact that I'm not sure I could do a good job with a pair of kitchen shears. So I came across these and decided to purchase them after reading a few of the thousands of reviews. I was worried about two things while I waited for these to arrive: the ease of use as well as the clarity I read a few reviews that said they were difficult to hold, but I disagree—I think they're quite comfortable to use if you hold them the way they're supposed to be held. To be clear, I had never cut hair before, and thus had never held a pair of scissors in the "correct" manner. " It is, however, simple. )br>br>As for sharpness, there's nothing to be concerned about. I snipped a strand of my dry hair just to see how well they cut, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was terrified that I would accidentally cut my daughter. (Thank goodness that didn't happen! )br>br>After watching a lot of tutorials online, I decided that cutting a bob would be the easiest (Hair 101 with April on YouTube was extremely helpful, in case anyone is curious. ) ) Even with her moving around, it was relatively simple to accomplish with enough planning. Her hair was easily snipped by the scissors. I was extremely pleased with the end result. br>br>I can't comment on their long-term plans. Of course, I've only had limited experience with them, but based on what I've seen so far, I'd say they're pretty incredible. And at such a low cost. These are something I'd strongly advise you to try.
