No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, and When I inquired about additional guards, Wahl responded as follows: "The three combs that came with your Detailer are the only ones that will work with this trimmer." The teeth on the Detailer are too fine to work with guides longer than 3/16".
These clipper guards are designed for full-size clippers only. They're too big to fit in the Peanut's mouth.
The 8081 5 star detailer trimmer is not compatible with it. All Wahl clippers are compatible with this attachment.

BUYER BEWARE, THIS IS JUNKI. I've only had this one guard for a few weeks and it's already broken. Horrible product that I was unable to return due to the fact that it was defective.
I purchased the Wahl Senior and a set of eight clipper guards. The Wahl Senior is a powerful clipper, but the guards are terrible! The clippers came with two guards, both of which are excellent, with more teeth and a closer spacing. The guide teeth on the ones in the set of 8 are too far apart, making them less strong and causing them to spread apart all the time! The ends' guides separate and unclip as a result of this. For the past 20 years, I've been cutting my own hair with store-bought Con- Air, cheap, weak clippers, but I've never had a problem with the guards, which should be thicker and stronger. I was relieved to see the size 3/16 Wahl guard because the first time I used it to shave the back of my head, the guard separated too far and fell off in the middle of the shave, leaving a large low spot. I'd have to go 1/16 to make it even.
The product is excellent and performs exactly as expected. My Wahl Balding Clippers were perfectly protected by the guards. They don't appear to be going to fall out in the middle of a cut. br>br>Plastic is both flexible and durable. My previous guard set was made of hard, brittle plastic that eventually broke. br>br>I like the guard holder. br>br>My only criticism is that the guard lengths on the larger sizes are a little shorter than stated. It's not a deal breaker, but an inch should be an inch, not 7/8 of an inch, if it says so. I deducted a star because of this.
This comb digs into the skin, which can cause scratches, unlike the genuine Wahl 1 comb. The original Wahl comb has a perfectly smooth surface where it touches the skin and a blunt leading edge that does not dig into the skin. It now fits the trimmer perfectly and is extremely durable. I tried using a file to remove the sharp edge, but it didn't work.
When ours became so worn that they wouldn't stay on, we were relieved to discover that they were still available individually. Wahl makes excellent products, and it's a must for close buzz cuts.
If you don't have the Wahl Professional Sterling Mag Trimmer 8779, disregard the label that says "Fits all Wahl Full Size Blades, except Competition Series. " In a community question, I asked once more. The following were the responses: Yes, that is correct. It's not going to work. The guide is far too large to stay on the clippersbr>br>I started with a "knockoff" brand, which was significantly less expensive. , and the non-believers believed The problem with the Wahl item was that it was out of stock. So I bought these (which cost almost four times as much)- exactly the same (wrong) fit br>br>fwiw- fwiw- fwiw- fwiw- fwiw I couldn't tell the difference between the knockoffs and the genuine Wahl guides. br>br>Perhaps the Sterling isn't a "full size" clipper. It's the only one I've ever had. To me, it appears to be in full size.
These are a must-have for any hair stylist who still cuts my family's hair! I've lost over half of the guards that came with my original clippers over the years, so when it came time to replace them, I went with these. I adore the color-coded system, and having a case to keep them in is an added bonus (I despise having to dig through a cluttered space). As a result, the storage case removes both of those options for me). These clippers are a perfect fit for my clippers and are of excellent quality. I wish I had purchased these years ago (especially when I was still working in a salon full-time). On the sides, the numbers are also easy to read. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a good set of clipper guards for their Wahl clippers to get these!.
I like to keep things organized, and this cutting guide kit is ideal because the guides make it simple to distinguish between the sizes, which is important to avoid cutting to the wrong length. The case makes it much easier to keep the guides in the right order than a loose drawer full of them. I'm not a professional barber, but this kit has helped me improve my skills.
