This was purchased as a gift for my mother-in-law. In the hopes of saving my towels from discoloration, I've started a home hair coloring ritual. However, the first and only time I wore the cape, I spent more time adjusting it to get it out of the way than I did working on my hair. No matter how much I wrapped and moved it away, it kept getting in the way. It would be more convenient to use if the arms had a cutout. Hairdressers may find it useful, but DIY hair colorists will be disappointed. I still have it tucked away, and I'm not going to use it unless I'm working on someone else's hair.
Then I used it to color my hair, and it worked like a pro cape, catching any drips. It came out great after being washed! It wasn't wrinkled at all and appeared to be brand new. I was afraid it would look worn out for the price I paid, but what a pleasant surprise; I'm glad I read all the positive reviews before purchasing it; they were correct; great purchase!.
Although it is a high-quality cape, my son complained about being too hot while I was cutting his hair, so I gave it a four-star rating. It was very simple to use, kept his hair off of him, and washed well in my washing machine; I line dried it and it air dried quickly. I'll have to figure out how to deal with the comfort factor.
They feel nice and heavy on the shoulders, and the material is very nice. Another cool feature is that it has two openings in the front, allowing clients to freely use their hands while wearing the cape. Exceptionally good value for the money.
I was expecting it to be shorter, but I'm glad it isn't; it's the perfect length for me. br>The material is very comfortable and easy to clean after use; a bonus for me is that it has buttons that allow me to adjust it to my neck's needs.
It can be adjusted to any size I require.
The cape isn't bad, but it doesn't look as good as it does in the picture. It's on the cheap side. Plastic in one layer. I thought I was getting some really nice capes, but it appears that there is a mass supply. They originate in China. They're good sewers, but they've never found a seamstress, which is surprising. They were mass-produced in large quantities. They're a bit disappointing, but they'll do for now. So far, I've thought I've done a good job of getting these.
