I recommend that you take your head circumference measurement behind the ears, from the nape of the neck to the front hairline.
Everything in the photo was delivered to me.
It's made of black thread.
It's filled with sawdust, which doesn't usually have a musty odor; instead, it has a light sawdust odor that can be removed by placing it in the sun for a few days.

First and foremost, let me state that it arrived in a very nice zip-top bag! My only issue with the wig head is that it has a terrible odor! It stinks up the place it's in. That is how powerful it is. I tried letting the head air out on its own for a few days, but nothing happened! I tried looking up some helpful tips on how to get the strong plant corky smell out of the wig head but couldn't find any! So I rubbed a lot of dryer sheets (the kind you use for laundry) on the head in the photo. I wrapped the dryer sheets all over the wig head and taped it up to seal in the fragrance smell of the dryer sheets and let it sit for a couple of days, and now the SMELL IS GONE! The issue has been resolved! Aside from the odor, the wig head is fantastic!.
From the packaging to the products, everything was spot on. This kit included nearly everything I needed to make my wig, and I'm in love with it. Many small purchases, such as t-shirts, were omitted. By accepting this offer, you will be on pins and needles. With this purchase, you will not be disappointed.
WARNING: THIS IS A TRUE REVIEW. ***This is a TRUE REVIEW, not a fake like some of the others below; I read the reviews before purchasing because I'm cheap af sometimes and don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a wig head, and I should have listened when the MAJORITY of you said it STINKS. HUNNY. AS A RESULT, HIS HEAD SMELLED LIKE DEATH. SUCH AS THE BOTTOM OF A MF SPIT BUCKET'S BARREL. IMAGINE SOME OLD MOP WATER MIX WITH BLACK MOLD, AND THE PIC OF THIS WIG HEAD WOULD BE RIHJT ON THE OTHER SIDE. Finally, I returned it to Amazon today. My entire truck area smelled like mold, so I need to get my issshh detailed. Before purchasing this vile wig head, I should have gone to another vendor or the dang beauty supply store because it had a small hole in it and stuff was falling out from the inside. You guys really gave it a shot this time, but I would not recommend it.
I'm devastated because I was looking forward to receiving this item. When I first opened the box, it smelled strange, but I ignored it. The item is sealed in a ziplock bag and then sealed again in a smaller plastic bag. When I took it out of the bag, I immediately recognized the odor as mildew. It was still damp to the touch, and mold spots were clearly visible. It didn't even come with the other pieces.
This item is extremely durable. It has made wig-making a lot easier for me. This is going to last a long time for me.
This product was well worth the money; it's very sturdy, and the head makes styling my wigs a breeze. I purchased the 22-inch and will be purchasing the 21-inch in the near future.
My new wig was late in arriving, and the salon where I bought it needed to manually adjust the sizing; which means I didn't start wearing it until late August. br>br>In late August, I started keeping my wig on the manikin head when I wasn't wearing it. br>Obviously, the wig had no smell because it was brand new. br>Last week, after about five days of not wearing it, I went to put it on, and it smelled awfully musty! br>However, I didn't notice a odor coming from the manikin head until today, when I put it on my wig drying frame rack. br>br>Today, I decided to put it to the test by walking over to the manikin's head and sniffing it; Yes, indeed! The musty odor is strongest in the manikin head. br>br>What is the issue? br>br>I've overstayed my welcome! br>I can't use a manikin head that stinks up my wig; no one wants smelly hair, right? What's a girl to do. . . br>Stay tuned, because I'll be calling Amazon first thing in the morning to request a return after the return date has passed.
It does make things a little easier, but I purchased a head that was far too large. I do recommend putting some sort of plastic barrier over the head, as it is a canvas-like material, before dying a wig on it, because I like the adjustable bands in mine and having the extra inches means I can make the wigs as tight or loose as I want them. The stand was a good fit for the table I was using, and I didn't have any issues with it.
