When I bought these, I wanted to do a test run to see which colors would look good on my hair, then buy more expensive or "high quality" hair pieces to clip in so I could get that vibrant pop of color This is exactly what I was looking for! I never expected these to be of such high quality. Accordingly, the pieces are small, so they're great for kids, however, they could also be used to attach a braid. I love this clip because it is small so I don't grab other sections that are difficult to separate, and the colors are gorgeous! It would have been nice if I could choose a set of colors from just a few and not all of them, but at this price, I just ordered a second set so I could have more I'm in love with the quality! I have only ever braided with them, so I was able to trim them easily and they stayed untangled.
