Questions & Answers
Any pair of small pliers will suffice; just be careful not to crimp the bead too tightly.
No, I don't think that's true. The feathers are dyed real rooster feathers.
Hello. These feathers were not out of stock, and I believe the credit was due to a shipping issue with Amazon. Now is a good time to buy. Thank you for your time and consideration, and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
It's simple, but only if you have a third arm and excellent vision can you do it on your own. Normally, I enlist the aid of a companion.

Total rip-offbr>To get what's shown in the picture, you'd have to buy 50 of this product. br>Totally misleading photobr>Came in the mail quickly but was very misleading.
It's simple to install, and it curls beautifully.
This summer, I've put them through the wringer by taking them on backpacking and river trips, swimming in pools or snorkeling in the ocean, and exposing them to the elements on a regular basis. They're still performing admirably. They don't hold a curl very well, but they're light enough to follow the lead of the hair around them. These make me so happy! br>I've only used the black/white and turquoise feathers (I currently have six in my hair that have been there for a month and a half), so I can't speak to the mahogany shades' durability, but I assume they're of similar quality.
This is exactly what I received in the package. Mostly natural colored feathers that look like low/high lights, with 4/5 teal feathers thrown in for good measure. At first, I assumed I'd have to hire someone to install them, but after reading the instructions, I decided to try it myself. It came with the beads and a threading loop, and it was very simple to put together. All you'll need is a pair of needle-nose pliers. If you don't have any, I'm sure a good pair of tweezers could hold that bead in place. My purchase has made me extremely happy.
The product listing is very misleading; it says "20 pieces," but there are less than 20 items in the package when the rings and feathers are combined. There are about 8 feathers in total. Although I did not open the package, the feathers appear to be of good quality and are brightly colored. They're overpriced to the point of absurdity. br>.
Although the pictures make it appear as if there is a larger bundle, it 'clearly' states that an order contains "20" feathers! I'm not a fan of negative reviews written by people who are too lazy to read the entire product description but are quick to make an ignorant comment or review. br>I'm extremely pleased with the product; it's of excellent quality and offers a wide range of options. I'll be ordering more because my friends and family think they, too, could use a few in their hair right now. )br>In addition, when properly installed with the correct end of the feather(s) in the bead and crimped to the angle of the scalp, they have stayed in place for weeks.
This is a simple process. But for the money I spent, it was a good deal. For that high of a price, the quality should have been much higher!! It's a waste of money in my opinion. If I ever decide to purchase feathers again, I'll keep this in mind. I'm going to do some more research to make sure this doesn't happen again.
I used three in my hair, three in the hair of one of my daughters, and two in the hair of my other daughter, and I still have plenty left. They're incredibly simple to set up and take down. I'll buy them again without a doubt. I curled mine with my hair, and it was cute and curled fine; I washed and brushed my hair fine, and braided the feathers into my daughter's hair, and the feathers curled like when you take a braid out. It's so adorable!.
