I am happy to report that they are doing well! The only drawback is that they don't hold a curl particularly well, but they're lightweight enough to let them follow the movement of the hair around them. That's how happy I am with them! My hair has only been adorned with black/white and turquoise feathers (I currently have six in my hair that have been there for a month and a half) so I cannot attest to their longevity. However, according to their descriptions they should be no different.
You will need to purchase 50 of this item in order to get what is shown on the image. *Comed in the mail fast but contained a lot of misleading information.
Here is the package showing me exactly what I ordered. It consists of mostly natural colored feathers that appear similar to low/high lights but with extra teal feathers for a little I initially thought I would have to have someone put them in for me, however after reading the instructions I decided to give it a go You get the beads and a threading loop with it, and it is very easy to make. The only tool you need is a needle nose plier. Despite your lack of tweezers, I think that you should be able to clamp that bead with a decent pair. The purchase I made is the best I've ever made.
While it looks like more feathers are in an order in the pictures, it 'clearly' states there are "20" feathers in one There is nothing I dislike more than people who are too lazy to read the full information about the products they are reviewing, but they are quick to make a comment/post a negative review about it. The product I received is great! It is of high quality and it is a I can't wait to have more of these in my hair, as my friends and family think they need some.
There are fewer than 20 pieces included in the product listing, as it states there are "20 pieces" but when the feathers and rings are added together there are only nine. The total number of feathers is probably eight. My first impression is that the feathers are brightly colored and of good quality, though I have not opened the package. There is an extremely high price for them.
I've been struggling with adding color to my hair without the maintenance and cost issues, so this is the perfect solution. The hairdresser I know loved the look and decided to order some for herself and clients as soon as possible. There is only one reason why this earns just 4 stars instead of 5. It is the packaging. Packaged in a small ziploc bag (nicely), the tickets are displayed on a stand. The feathers, on the other hand, creased because the ziploc was so small. The sheets can be straightened, so it doesn't seem to be a big deal.
I spent a lot, but it was cheap. For that price, the quality should have been so much better! This is a waste of money in my opinion. I will buy feathers again if I need them. Research will be done so I don't have to repeat this mistake.
