Yes, it's a fake; the real bold hold from the official site has a barcode on the left side of the logo, whereas the one from Amazon does not. It's not for heavy sweaters, heat, or humidity because the wig kept sliding back when I sweated, so don't waste your money and get the real one instead.

This isn't the Bold hold as it's known. It's rubbing off, indicating a weak adhesive and a phony label. I require a refund.
As a hairstylist, I always use bold hold when ordering from this company. Well, I decided to order some from Amazon, and when the bottle arrived, it was a lighter pink with a different smell than any of the others I had used, and when I went to take off my closure because it was itching like crazy, I had all these bumps on my forehead. This is so sad as hell.
The glue didn't stick as well as it should have. I'm a hairstylist with a focus on lace installations. I usually use ghost bond, but I recently tried some bold hold from another stylist at my salon, and it was fantastic! This one, on the other hand, refused to adhere no matter how many layers were applied or how long it took to dry! It is not advisable to purchase from this site!.
It was put to the test by a girl who sweated, worked out, pulled, and tugged and it stayed put with 2-. 3 layers. So I gave it a shot and it's great, even if you have oily skin like me, because my forehead gets oily throughout the day; it's comfortable to wear but a little difficult to remove. I'm still looking for new ways to get rid of it.
This is an excellent product. I was concerned because I am active and sweat a lot, but after a gym session and a swim session, my lace front is still in place. I was sceptical about it being waterproof, but it turns out that the creme is.
If you're as active as I am, you should wait at least two weeks before lifting.
