Despite the picture, the crown is more beautiful than it appears and comes with a few extra jewels in case one falls out. The purchase I made was of excellent quality!
In my opinion, it might be a little too big or even too heavy for a 5 year old. When you hold the item in your hand, it actually appears to be much heavier and more expensive.
I suppose it could be, though it would take up most of the cake if it were a full-sized crown.
It is very popular with my son, 2 years old! Considering how curly her hair is, please keep that in mind if you have a child with curly hair. Pulls can be done with it.
