There are two of these in the box. One is pink, and the other is aqua, but neither is marked as an XL. The only identification is on the gift tags, which refer to it as "the original turbie twist." I have a question about the size difference between the original and the XL and will update as soon as I receive a response.

I've never written a review for anything I've bought on Amazon because the products are usually what they say they are. But, man, I've got to brag about these, perhaps because I've been in desperate need of them! br>I've tried off-brand versions of these towels, and they're terrible! And I had the regular turbies, but my hair had grown SUPER long (almost to my butt as a 5'8" female) and the ends of the regular ones were hanging out. So I splurged on these after discovering that off-brands were a waste of money, and I'm thrilled with them! My hair is the right length. I have a lot of it as well! br>As a result, I took photographs because I was so excited.
This evening, I used this extra large turban towel to dry my locs, which extend slightly past my shoulders and a few inches past my neck. I have a lot more room, and my locs aren't pulled too tight. It's very relaxing.
In comparison to the originals, I really like how long these are. I have hair all the way down to my toes, and I can fit it all in there. I just wish it was two times thicker because even though I wring the excess water out of my hair before wrapping it in the turbie twist, it quickly becomes saturated with water. If they made these in an extra thick version in addition to an extra long version, I'd buy them in a heartbeat. I took a photo to show the difference in length between the original and the XL version.
I've been using these for at least ten years. It's my first time getting the XL one for long hair, and it's been a huge help in keeping the dripping ends of my hair out of the way! The turbie twists are my favorite because they aren't as big, heavy, or bulky as a traditional bath towel. After I swim, I find it very useful in the pool. My only gripes are: br> Microfiber does not have the same feel or texture as real cotton. These cling to synthetic fabrics in the dryer. Make a list of all the non-essential items you'll need. Cotton underwear will cling to this item tenaciously! The cord/elastic that holds the end in place has previously pulled out. One of the reasons I ordered new ones is because of this. Overall, it was a wise decision.
Her hair is thick and falls about four inches above her bottom at its longest. I decided to stick with the original, and I'm so glad I did! When she first used it, she squealed! (She's 17 years old, by the way!) lol). It easily holds all of her hair, and the loop is nice and thick as well, making it a high-quality product all around.
Many years ago, for Christmas, I received this brand of wrap in the standard size. Since I now like to keep my hair long and down to my waist, I figured it was time for an upgrade. My old ones had seen a lot of wear and tear, so when these arrived, I was reminded of how soft they are. I washed them before using them for the first time, as instructed, and they've worked out perfectly. After I've showered and applied product to my hair, I like to wrap it up with these. It keeps my hair out of my face and prevents frizz while I get dressed and go through my routine, as well as quickly soaking up excess water so that when I'm ready and settled, I can let my hair down to air dry. The material is extremely absorbent and does not wreak havoc on your clothes like traditional towel drying can. It's very safe and secure, and you get two of them so you can switch them out. Anyone would benefit from these!.
I've struggled to find an absorbent head wrap towel that is both absorbent and long enough to be comfortable. This one is definitely long enough for those with longer locks. My hair is fine and mid-back length, but there is plenty of it. It absorbed quickly, but it wasn't thick enough to do the job properly because it became saturated almost immediately. It's super comfy, and I like that it's closed with an elastic hook rather than a button. It's incredibly light, and the fact that it comes in a two-pack is fantastic. Although I would prefer different colors, I would recommend it and purchase it again.
